Game Characters as Role Models

Which game characters do you think are the best role models? My vote goes to Link of The Legend of Zelda. He is courageous, bold, and always gets the job done without a single complaint (or any words at all, for that matter).

I would go so far as to say any fictional character shouldn't be considered a role model.

This is tentative since I'm not even close to beating the game thoroughly, but King Wilmgard from Knights in the Nightmare. I say this because he made a really good "speech" about what constitutes a country. I hope I don't have to correct myself later...

Why not to the both of you? These characters exemplify what it is to be heroic (or not). Some fall into situations we find ourselves in albeit in a far more epic form. They can be the highest representative of morality and heroism.
