OT: I doubt it. Þórir is uncommon enough in Iceland, so for it to be in a video game would surprise me greatly.
How the hell do you pronounce that? I must know!
Þ is pronounced like a th. A good example would be fifth.
Ó is just an O with a comma on top.
And R is pronounced more err than arr here in Iceland. I is not eye but just the single letter. And I already explained the R.
In common English it would be written as Thorir for ease of reading.

There are people with the pronunciation of my name, but my spelling is drastically different. That said, my nickname is used every once in a while: "Joker." That said, the pilot from the ME series is absolutely nothing like me.

I share a first name with Diego Armando from the Ace Attorney series. It's uncanny actually, since that's not the only thing we share. We also have the same color of skin and the same nationality (Brazilian. Acording to an interview I read, Diego Armando is Brazilian).

I share my first and last name with the doctor who was force fed a piece of glass in CoD: Black Ops, though it's spelled slightly different. That was a bit weird.

No one. Ever. There will never be anyone with my name in a game. It's a poor English-ification of an Arabic name.

But you if you take Scandinavian version of my first name you will get Ingvar (Final boss in Utgard Keep in WoW)

I don't think I've ever encountered game character named Murray.
Obviously you've never played the Monkey Island series. Arguably the best character in it.
Rest in peace, Murray.

For me, I've only seen my name in one game, and that was an MMO (Runescape), I guess because it's got such a wide variety of NPC names.

The Murray would like to have a word with you. :o

I've come across one or two characters in my entire life named Steve. None with my last name, though.

With only the first name, mine is Nathan.
So Nathan Drake (Uncharted), Nathan Vargas (Fallout 3), Nathan Stanley (Fallout New Vegas), Nathan Stone (Fallout New Vegas, Nathan Hale (Resistance), Nathan "Rad" Spencer(Bionic Commando), Nathan Gould (Crysis), Nathan Copeland (No More Heroes), and probably a few more.

Ones named Nathan Buchta... None.

The only major character I could find is Rachel Alucard from Blazblue (though the name isn't the right spelling):

Other than that, only extremely minor characters in random games.

By the way, for those who don't know of any try searching through this list here. [http://www.giantbomb.com/characters/?page=11&letter=r]

I got Alex from Street Fighter 3 and Alex from Tekken.
I'm fairly certain there are other characters named Alex or Alexander, but I can't quite think of any others at the moment.

The only game related Charlotte I was able to find was a female fencer in a game called 'Samurai Showdown.'

Have at you sir!

Most people call me Charlie though, although looking that's not much better...my last name is totally random so meh

My friend has the exact same name as a technician in Alien Swarm.

I am a descendant of Sir Francis Drake so I like to think Nathan is my relative! High five Nathan!

My name (Cole) seems to have become surprisingly common in the past couple of years, both in videogames and in real life. I used to be the only person I knew of named Cole, but now I'm encountering carbon in its ordinary form practically every day, especially in videogames. Cole MacGrath and Cole Phelps being the two most prominent examples I can think of.

I think there are other characters named Cole, but I might just be delusional, like those doctors keep telling me.
