This is... glorious.

Mind you, the political figures don't quite match the characters, but it's still amusing to say the least.

Ive never seen Game of Thrones, but if this is in anyway correct, ill laugh my ass off while driving to the movie store to buy the show on DVD.
It is correct in broad strokes. Also the show contains more stabbing and prostitutes.

Okay, just more stabbing.

...just watch the show, alright?
Now, when you say stabbing, do you mean someone getting stuck like a pig, or... "egh, egh" [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DoubleEntendre]

[sub]Its an HBO show right? That seemed to have been prevelant back when my household had it...[/sub]

T'was a mathmatician's answer. Both are correct - there is a large amount of sexing and murdering.

Haha, very witty. Though the part of me that follows politics is a bit insulted by the reductionist views of some of the political figures. But, it's all in good fun, none the less.

Edit: I would put John Stewart instead of Steven Colbert. He jokes just as much, but few TV personalities are as knowledgeable about politics as he is. I like Colbert, but he is a small fry compared to John Stewart. That dude does his homework.
I think that the only reason Colbert was used instead of Stewart is because of the fact that Colbert formed this SuperPAC Americans for a better tomorrow, tomorrow.
Oh, yeah, that would make sense. I forgot all about that.

This was obviously written by someone who is just watching the show and hasn't read the books.

I have never seen Game of Thrones, but kind of thought this was funny.
Recognized that the Al Gore thing must be pretty funny to anyone in on it.

I do find amusing how this was apparently written by a liberal douchebag, because I would have thought, when offered the amount of ammo the Republican leadership battles have generated, those on the right would demand it loaded and fired :)

As for not being American and not having followed it, you've missed a treat, if a worrying one. It's been hilarious and terrifying at the same time, in a 'hahaha, they're running on the policies of what? hang on..people are actually supporting him!' kinda way.

Also amused me the Santorum run, where he goes 'I'm anti abortion and I'm going to do all I can to screw with women's heads..and other parts to stop them getting one' and the guys were fine with that, then 'I'm gonna stop contraception' and they were fine with it, and then 'I'm gonna block all porn in the US!' and suddenly ...tumbleweed.

(Ok, that's not how it happened exactly, but it's how I like to think of it, which is what they seem to do about Obama, so all's fair :D )

The only trouble with the Daily Show, is that the Republicans keep coming up with shit so crazy they struggle to exaggerate it for comic effect :)

OT: The only iffy fit is Daenerys Targaryen/Sarah Palin. At least, I fucking hope Palin isn't Dragonborn!
Dragonborn is in Skyrim.

Danyeris is STORMborn, and "Mother of Dragons".

Some of these do not work so well. And it is quite partisan so overall meh.

Though I found Al Gore, Rommney, and Clinton to be quite entertaining.

Others just do not make much sense: Palin and Newt.

And Colbert and Obama are just way off. Especially Colbert.

This is creepily brilliant. I will now never be able to watch GoT without thinking of Tyrion as Colbert.
