Post is knida funny even though I haven't seen Game of Thrones yet, but could we please stop with the "Sarah Palin is a stupid evil whore" rhetoric? please? She (to my limited knowledge) isn't even in politics any more, so the camping of insentient venom can stop now. (not that it was ever needed) I have never seen so much hate directed at one person on the internet and on TV and its getting old. /Rant

Could someone give me a top to bottom of the Game of Thrones characters? Haven't watched the show yet.

I... would really not have cast President Obama as Robb Stark. It seems like an *extraordinarily* ill omen to me.

(On the right myself, so the politics aren't mine, and it's kind of annoying how often political gags just make fun of the Republicans. That said, the Al Gore "climate change" gag is freakin' gold.)

TIL that there are several republicans who read these forums. Who would've guessed?

Also...at the risk of looking way too far into a harmless joke, I'd say that the Song of Ice and Fire characters are a little oversimplified in this example.

The Ned Stark/Al Gore "always going on about climate change" gave me a pretty good laugh.

edit: was anyone else hoping that they'd maintain the correct titles for each season? Season 2 should be called "A Clash of Kings" and so on.

Hodor, Ned, The Imp, and the good ol' jolly king are absolutely perfect fits, but the others are good too. Only slightly off one is Daenerys.

Surprised at all the Daenerys fans here. If GRR Martin decides to bring back his "everyone can and will die in an instant" policy, I hope he applies it to Daenerys first :\

OT: The Al Gore one was hilarious, and the Clinton one was pretty good too

The "climate change" line cracked me up. The whole thing was amusing, but that actually managed to get a laugh out of me.

The only funny thing was the Climate change gag, otherwise stick to gaming and movie Escapist, I like you and I disagree with you on this kind of stuff so lets leave it be.
