'Fuck the Alliance, fucking die...' This is in reference to THE ALLIANCE, not the Alliance players. If some stupid kids are too dumb to tell the difference between a game and the people that play the game, well that's on the kids not Blizzard. That being said I'd be pretty dissapointed with all of that if I was an Alliance player; here I pay big bucks to go to an event to listen to the devs of the game tell me how much my choice in factions sucks.

Can someone say "Boo-freakin'-hoo"? Seriously, this is nowhere near the most offensive thing I've seen/heard any musician or artist say/do. If you actually take what these guys say to heart, then just don't listen to them anymore and go back to doing whatever the hell you typically do in your sad little excuse for an existence.

If you seriously get so uppity over a band calling out a group of VIDEO-GAME CHARACTERS, then you, my good sirs and/or madams, need to seriously "get you some". There are a lot more pressing matters that exist other than if Cannibal Corpse hates on Night Elves.

HAHAHAHAHHAHA really? Are people REALLY so butthurt that he said "******", and that he ranted on Alliance? Haven't EVERYONE who's EVER played WoW ranted in a similar fashion atleast once?
God. I wish people would stop crying "politically incorrect" as soon as they possibly can and accept that A; He's not a homophobe, and B; His opinions matter as much as yours, i.e not at all.
He sounds just like any WoW-nerd complaining about nerfs/buffs. Grow up, people.

Well what the fuck did they expect, they put up a troll video for no other reason then to piss off their own clientele.

There is a fine line between edgy comedy and straight up insults but Blizzard your accountants can't see it.

I think it's clear by now that I hate death metal in most of its incarnations. I quite like Dimmu Borgir, but I don't know if they're heavy enough to be called death metal. Regardless, Cannibal Corpse is one whose image I can't stand. Also, their name I can't stand. And his name is Corpsegrinder. He sounds like a total dick.
"Most" is different from "all".

I don't like Cannibal Corpse, but there's a fair amount of metal that I do like, and it saddens me to see you make generalizations like that no death metal band has any concept of art.

If they had any concept of art, they wouldn't hide it behind disgusting growly shouts and lyrics that are clearly designed to get attention for being controversial.

Well, that's okay, because nobody has ever, or will ever care what death metal 'musicians' have to say. These are people that have no concept of art, and only of controversy, so I'm really not surprised that they think they're all unique and special for talking shit like this.
I really like the part where you voiced your opinion as fact, and did so on everybody's behalf.

OT: Corpsegrinder.
Well, really, how many people actually take death metal lyrics seriously?
I don't know if you can understand this, but saying people pay attention to death metal lyrics ISN'T the same thing as saying that nobody cares about what the lyricists have to say, and yeah - I don't listen to much of it at all, but they are most certainly musicians, and extremely talented ones (in most cases) at that. Just because one guy in the genre is a dick doesn't mean all guys in the genre are.

I have absolutely no idea who that band/singer/hair with legs is.

Then again i'm not a fan of metal music. I'll sit here with my Barry Manilow playing.

I don't tend to like growling vocals, but I think both "Between the Buried and Me" and Opeth have music that's worth listening to, and they both use growling vocals extensively. If you disagree, that's fine, but don't dismiss an entire movement of art because it doesn't match your taste. That's like saying that Picasso isn't an artist just because you prefer neo-classical paintings.

Dimmu, I believe would fall under Symphonic Black Metal, but the point is you're making a sweeping generalisation about a genre based on one band, whilst making it clear you don't have too much of an understand about metal sub-genres in the first place. Personally I'm usually not concerned with lyrics, or at least there not a dealbreaker with me given that music lyrics seem to be the one area where Sturgeon's Law: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sturgeon%27s_Law holds up. Cannibal Corpse have no other intention, but to replicate the feel of over the top gratuitous exploitation horror flicks with their lyrics. But if you delve even a little bit further you'll see the same is not necessarily true for other artists who play Death Metal. Take early At the Gates, Cynic and Opeth for example:

http://www.metrolyrics.com/celestial-voyage-lyrics-cynic.html

And that's only scratching the surface, even if these particular examples aren't to your liking, you can find plenty of artists within any genre who produce work of more artistic credibility if you look for them. Fair enough if you don't like Cannibal Corpse but understand that they have no intention of producing art, so don't myopically asses the artistic merit of entire genre's on the basis of one or a few bands. Now I fear I've gone drastically off-topic, so I shall bid you good day sir.

Never understood why whipping your head up and down before playing some heavy metal music is considered hardcore. They look silly as hell to me.

On topic, yeah, I... uh, wow. I thought the Foo Fighters playing, why can't we get a video of them instead?!

Faggots were small bunches of sticks, usually used in med-evil times fires to burn PEOPLE as in Witches and Homosexuals. Current usage puts the emphasis on the homosexual aspect, with the general implication is that the person your calling it should be burned alive for being homosexual. Admittedly, I doubt screaming online teens get the full implication of what their saying, but its very much meant as perjorative towards being homosexual

Whatever Cannibal Corpse dude, I don't like your band anyway.

I've always been annoyed with people who go all gung-ho about their faction of choice. It's no better than the platform war idiocy. When I played WoW I used both factions equally, and enjoyed them. People like this take games way too seriously, and make all gamers look bad by association. And what's worse, is that Blizzard actually encourages it.

The thing is, I don't know of anyone who uses it in a hateful way. It's just a word we throw around each other when we're messing around. Almost all of my friends say it and none of us wish any hate on gay people, it's just how we talk.
