Games not made for sequels

What games do you think never should have ever had a sequel, or shouldn't have one in the future?

I'm going to have to go with TWEWY. I just finished it this morning and I gotta say, it's great the way it is and a sequel would probably only stain its name.

As much as I really like Bioshock, the game did not end with the impression that a sequel could be made.

I think Bioshock 2 looks great from what I have seen, but I can't see how they can create as interesting a story as the first.

Final Fantasy wasn't made for a sequel, as it was actually supposed to be Square's last game.

Also, Portal. The game is brilliant, please don't ruin it with a sequel, Valve.

I must disagree; I've played the first one to X-2, and I must say I've never played a Final Fantasy game I don't like.

basically Final fantasy 1 was a last chance move to save the company from failure
it was such a success that they decided to make simmilar games
basicaly its a trademark so you know the kind of game
also apart from X-2 and VII's prequels and sequel movie they have no connection to each other
so you can number them easily

The World Ends With You. I just don't know if they would manage to repeat the characters, the style, the plot without the copy/paste feel.

Prototype should NEVER have a sequel. Where would it go? there's nothing to build on with it.

I know. But it's way too late, and for a long time there was no sequel planned. It would have been so much nicer if they'd just wrapped up the game neatly, so that a new sequel would be a nich surprise, rather than a 'Finally! They're fulfilling what they promised 10 years ago!'

Too Human, most Final Fantasy games, The Suffering wasn't really built to even have the option for a sequel but did it anyway, Sonic, the entire racing sim genre, and Grand Theft Auto games (that's why they only make prequels).

Sequels are an evil, greedy thing whose sole purpose are pocket mining.

Actually it turns out they're not. The game was never actually officially announced and everyone assumed it was coming out because of that trailer (which was apparently some sort of test).

Don't know if I'm right about it not being announced but if I'm wrong it still got cancelled/confirmed to not be coming out.
