With the exception of Minecraft, which I play on peaceful occasionally when I just want to relax and build shit, I have never once played a game on easy. Ever.

Usually I turn the difficulty down to easy when I'm sick of a game and just want to end it for the story. Most recent example would be Dragon Age 2. I just got sick of all the waves, so I decided to just turn it down to easy so I could plough through them with ease.

The entire Stalker series, those games are punishing enough on the easiest settings.
I also understand why I lot of people play Fallout 3 on easy, but I like to play on hard, the game just didn't seem changing, so I had to turn it up a notch, but then again, I'm used to Stalker's ridiculous difficulty.

Persona 4.

I was playing for the story. The fighting gameplay wasn't too fun, but the story was great. I would rather breeze through the dungeons and focus on the character plots.

Saint's Row 2. I love that game but holy fuck does it ever kick my arse on harder difficulties. SMG-wielding gang members everywhere! And the cops that seem to respond to every slight with lethal force, even if you only knock over a bin while being chased and gunned down by gang members just don't help matters.

Seriously, I got beaten half to death for smoking a fucking blunt on the sidewalk once.

Dragon Age Origins. Why? There was no achievements to force me to go on to any higher difficulty. So i did the easiest level possible :D.
I will never understand why people care so much about pointless fucking achievments.

Dragon Age: Origins. I just...had to.
When I first played it I put it down to easy simply because I wasn't actually expecting any real threat on normal and it freaked me out. Now whenever I play it I put it on hard and bump it down to normal when a boss/revenant/battle is beyond my current abilities.

All of them...

The first play through's anyway.

And I'm not ashamed to admit it either, games are more fun when you win.

Well, I make it a policy to always start playing on the hardest difficulty, but I will occassionaly turn down the difficulty, I recently started playing oblivion, and about 2 minutes in I had to turn down the difficulty because I didn't know how to equip weapons, and it it damn frustrating to be killed over and over again by a couple of rats.

Some God of War bosses, but only for that boss.

Most strategy games, like Starcraft 2, but in my defense I suck at most strategy games.
