Saint's Row 2. I love that game but holy fuck does it ever kick my arse on harder difficulties. SMG-wielding gang members everywhere! And the cops that seem to respond to every slight with lethal force, even if you only knock over a bin while being chased and gunned down by gang members just don't help matters.

Seriously, I got beaten half to death for smoking a fucking blunt on the sidewalk once.

Dragon Age Origins. Why? There was no achievements to force me to go on to any higher difficulty. So i did the easiest level possible .

I will never understand why people care so much about pointless fucking achievments.

Dragon Age: Origins. I just...had to.

When I first played it I put it down to easy simply because I wasn't actually expecting any real threat on normal and it freaked me out. Now whenever I play it I put it on hard and bump it down to normal when a boss/revenant/battle is beyond my current abilities.

Well, I make it a policy to always start playing on the hardest difficulty, but I will occassionaly turn down the difficulty, I recently started playing oblivion, and about 2 minutes in I had to turn down the difficulty because I didn't know how to equip weapons, and it it damn frustrating to be killed over and over again by a couple of rats.

Honestly I play most games on easy.

I'm more into story than challenging combat so I usually put easy on so I can fire through and get really into the story

Except for Gears of War, I go hardcore on that bad boy!

I really like RTS games but I suck at them. Actually I did manage to beat an army on Battle for Middle Earth II on the hardest difficulty, but that was because I had the advantage of being in Helms Deep while the enemy's base was outside.
