DA2, not because it was hard but because the battles were such horseshit so I just wanted to see what little story there is.

I keep seeing Bioshock crop up in here. The thing with turning down the difficulty in Bioshock is you never learn the most important mechanical lesson the game teaces you: Electric Buck = I win. Always. I couldn't agree more about the creep factor though. I'm hoping they tone that down a bit with Infinite.
TBH, I'd rather see the devs up the creepy for Bioshock Infinite. There just don't seem to be many creepy games on the market that aren't trying outright to be a horror game (and usually failing). The creepy factor was what made me play (and love) Bioshock in the first place, despite it being a shooter which is a type of game I normally despise.

Dragon Age: Origins, I had to, at first I played on normal, but when I got to the middle of the game, It was potion after potion, and I always had to save the game constantly because I always died. I thought I was pretty decent at those types of games, until I play that game.

Ill try and finish a game the first time on normal or hard but switch it to easy on the 2nd play to get trophies/achievements if it allows it

Bioshock.
Because I figured "What the hey, it's not like it's actually possible to lose at this game, so it's not even worth my time to pretend that it's a challenge."

Goddamn Creepers...

I play on a server where creepers just run up to you then shyly stand there. I forget that they are actually dangerous sometimes.

OT:

Civilization games.

Rock Band, on the world tour mode. I have to play bass and vocals, and cannot be bothered increasing the difficulty.

Some parts of Bioshock. STALKER: SoC, and a bunch of RTSs.

Also, the Touhou games, initially. And a lot of my roguelike wins come from comparatively easy class/race combos.

I play the Left 4 Dead 2 campaigns on Easy, but I also play them on every other difficulty. I don't need to play the higher difficulties all the time.

Although, I always play Minecraft on Easy.

Honestly? When I was younger, it was the standard.

Now, even when I can play things on hard or impossible or godlike or whatever, sometimes it's just more FUN to put it on easy.

Like, say, Unreal Tournament. Sure, I have a save slot where I've completed the game on Godlike (actual difficulty, heh), but I play it vs. bots that are on Novice sometimes just so I can fuck around with the AI. It's pretty entertaining.

Something like Grand Theft Auto or any sandbox game really is generally better on a lower difficulty.

Oh, and Total Annihilation /// Supreme Commander - much more entertaining vs the shittier AI players...I'm talking take the whole map and just walling them in with artillery towers...Goddamn, game was great.

KOTOR, Dragon Age, Oblivion, and Fallout. RPG's have more to offer than combat and sometimes I just feel like furthering the story rather than learning how to gear up a character just right. Though I only play them once or twice on easy, the other times are usually much harder.
