Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask. That game might as well be Skyrim for children due to the amount of quests you need to do.
There are only 4 dungeons you have to do. Everything else is for shits and giggles.
Sure, those shits and giggles may be for the proper ending, but that doesn't change the fact that you can beat Majora's Mask with only 3 masks.

Shadows of the Damned. I tried it the first time on hard mode and loved it, but then I just couldn't get the final boss...it's not that he killed me, I played for about an hour without dying and just couldn't bring him down. A shame, it kinda tainted an otherwise amazing gaming experience. I might get there one day.

Even though I perceive myself as a Zelda fan, I have yet to finish a single Zelda game. With TP, I got to the siege of hyrule castle and stopped, and similar stories for OOt, WW, and LttP.

Even though I love Sly Cooper, and bought all three originals and the HD remakes, the only one I've finished is the second one.

Even though collectively me and my dad have bought every Mario game since the NES, the only one I've beaten was Sunshine.

and Skyrim. Just got boring after a while, IMO nowhere near as good as Fallout 3.

Kingdoms of Amular. It's a really big game but it is so damn boring and bland. I just couldn't continue playing it. It was pretty much an mmo but singleplayer, I really regret impulse buying it after being impressed with the demo.

There is one that sticks out. Three in 3, an old, OLD Mac game that defeated my attempts to solve it logically. It's a nice puzzle game, but it has proved too hard in the later levels.

Wild 9, PS1. An escort mission in a game whose tagline is "torment your enemies" is a foregone conclusion.
Mystical Ninja, N64. IMPACT had terrible combat mechanics, and I never mastered them.
Duke Nukem Zero Hour, N64. Just a crap game. 'Nuff said.
Mega Man 8, Ps1. "Jump Jump!" "Slide Slide!" "Jump Jump!" F___ off.
Painkiller Black, Steam version. Crashes on loading about half the time. Stopped caring when they never patched it.
Various Zynga games. Skinner box techniques will only take you so far. (Exception, Empires and Allies, which had an SP campaign].

Neverwinter Nights 1/2: Just never really got into the stories at all

Mirror's Edge: Got to the last level and just stopped for some reason. It's been so long that I'm afraid to go back and try to start from there again.

Pokemon Yellow: I beat the game multiple times. But with all the internet rage about the battery packs starting to fail, I started it up and realized I only have 2 badges right now.

Alan Wake: Just kind of stopped again.

Dead Space: Barely started

Goldeneye: The PS2 version. Last level, never finished

Ocarina of Time (Prepares for internet crucifiction) : Never had an N64 so didn't get to try it until a friend let me borrow it for Gamecube. Couldn't get into it.

Metroid Prime. I didn't finish because my GameCube broke when I was part way through it, and I didn't yet have a Wii. I've put it off for so long and now I know I'd have to start the game over for any of it to make sense, so I just cant be bothered to play it.

Assassin's Creed. Loved it at first, but slowly-slowly dawdling around the cities finally broke me. I intend to give the second game a good try at some point.

Aaaaand Knights of the Old Republic. I got maybe three hours in.

I haven't finished most of the games I started in the past couple of years. Most notably was Gears of War 3. I got really busy with work and postponed the second half, but then some dick spoiled a major plot point for me and it sort of just killed my motivation to pick the game up again.

Kingdoms of Amalur. Pretty game, interesting mechanics, just...utter lack of anything to draw me in. A game shouldn't be boring in the first ten hours!
