I bought it...Judgement101 said:A Valley Without Wind, it's an indie game on steam and it seems like no one has ever noticed it. Granted the graphics are just god awful, so maybe thats why no one buys it.
Its a great game but it is hard to find, ebay might be your best bet, I actually found Odin Sphere by accident at Blockbuster (it was a new copy) when i was looking at movies, I found Okami at the same time, bought both, don't regret getting either.Shinsei-J said:That game looks flippin amazing!
I'm looking for a copy of it right now damn it!
Friend of mine loaned that one to me. Still hasn't been forgiven for selling it with the rest of his PS2 stuff.Guffe said:A game called Baroque.
I found it cheaply for the Wii a few years back, don't know anyone who's heard of it.
And good so, the game sucked and I didn't understand crap about it...
I tried to play it for several hours but never got anywhere
People of the Escapist, keep away from this game!
You are not alone. I own 3 of the 4 Personas. The first two on the PSP, the third both on PS2 and PSP, and Persona 4 on the PS2. I also have both Digital Devil Sagas, and Nocturne. I pretty much feel Atlus can do no wrong for bringing those games to my attention.Fractral said:Well the irritating thing about the escapist is that there is almost guaranteed to be at least someone else who has played/heard of any game you can think of. Or it might be a good thing, I dunno.
I've never found another SMT fan in real life, though. I guess most people just don't like that style of game, which is a shame.
Have that game in my possession as well. Some of the mechanics are questionable, but overall it was a fun little game that you don't see much of anymore.clippen05 said:Operation Darkness. It got scathing reviews but I don't think its half bad. The camera can be annoying sure, but once you get past that its a game almost equal to Fire Emblem (It's a Strategy RPG if you couldn't guess)
I had that! The one where you could follow smells right?Roofstone said:Dog's life for playstation 2.
I've never met another person that is even aware of its existence, which is a shame. Cause it is the best game ever made!
I'm fairly sure anyone who played X-Wing or TIE Fighter knew about Alliance as well, but either just wasn't into the games for Multiplayer, or were just so utterly soured by X vs T that they didn't want to give another game's campaign a chance.bl4ckh4wk64 said:Without a doubt, Star Wars: X Wing Alliance. I actually have never met anyone else who has ever heard of it.
That game had such fun multiplayer.Z of the Na said:Bomberman 64: The Second Attack springs to mind.
That was one of my favorite games of the N64, and yet nobody mentions it. Ever.
I thought these three were common, Metal Arms at least. Metal arms is a classic to me. I like Brute Force much less.Z of the Na said:Bomberman 64: The Second Attack springs to mind.

Other games of note include:
- Metals Arms: Glitch in the System (Xbox, PS2, Gamecube)
- Brute Force (Xbox)
Yojoo said:Lords of Magic for PC. It's an RPG/RTS hybrid with a turn-based movement and economy system that switches to a real-time tactical battlefield when combat is initiated. There were eight different "faiths" you could play as, like order, chaos, life, and death, which gave the game a lot of replay-ability.
The only people I know who actually played it were my brother and I.
Oh, I've played that one before, but I never hear anyone talk about the Slugfest games, they're pretty fun if you ask me.MasterNano said:Ty the Tasmanian Tiger 2: Bush Rescue.
It's not that obscure, but I've never heard it mentioned in web-videos, and in my opinion, it's one of the best games made for kids ever!
