Red Dead Redemption. I had the choice of that or Crackdown 2, I strongly suspect that I would be happier with Crackdown 2, theres just something about Rockstar games that makes me lose interest a couple of hours in.

Power Rangers for the Sega Genesis. I could never get past it. I was 12 I think.

Bioshock, it was not worth $5.
Haha, good one... Now seriously take that the fuck back right the fuck now.
Sorry, I have to agree with archvile. Maybe it was good on PC, but the 360 version just controlled so horribly that it was a total let down. I liked everything, except for the actual gameplay and the fact that the horror element lasted only until you fight your first enemy.

Other than that, both fable games and Kingdom Under Fire.

I could probably list most of the thirty billion RTSes that I've bought and only played once. But the ultimate in regretted purchases has to be SunAge. Dear god, that was abysmal.

And Oblivion. Funny how my favourite RPG ever could be followed up by the worst RPG I've ever played.

Nope, Unlike most people I was able to see through the interesting setting and realize how shit the GAME part of the GAME was.

Gears of War 2, I bought it, spent 6 hours on it (5 campaign, 1 MP) then took it back to Gamestation the very same day and got my money back.

Tom Clancy's Endwar. Why oh why did I buy it, ill never know. Ugh.
Hey I was about to say that. Glad I was not the only one.

"I want to command my troops with the head-set."
"Very well sir. Would you mind screaming your orders so everyone in the house can hear you? Oh I'm sorry that was not the right tone, try in a louder more obnoxious pitch."

Why did I do that? Why did I buy you?

The Latest AvP. Thought it was awesome in the multiplayer demo, then I bought it and realized that was pretty much it.

The controls were better on PC, but that didn't make it less broken in every other way.

Mine was Just Cause. The damn game was terrible in every way.
Wait? the first one or the sequel?
I didn't like the first but the sequel was trippy and huge.

My answer: No More Heroes.

It's the last one I regret buying.
It got me to start renting again.

Course they were, but the v1.1 patch made it so much worthwhile.
I personally think developers leave things out so that they can get more money to make a patch thousands will simultaneously download.

Ha-Ha! I hear you on that. I mainly bought it because my store was selling the CE Edition for like 39.99 for one day only... and I wanted a wireless headset for my 360. So the game was like a free bonus... Mind you a craptastic bonus... but bonus none the less.

Not one I regret buying, but I most definitely regret selling Prince of Persia Sands of Time. Why why why!?

You mean that patch that didn't fix any of the games problem, like increase the amount of ammo you can find, or maybe make plasmids even remotely useful, or maybe reduce the health of the most basic mooks to less than mine so they can no longer take to machine gun clips of anti- person rounds to the face? Or fixed the absolute joke they call hit detection? The one that only allowed you to turn of Vita-chambers which were put in in the first place because the developers realized how badly they fucked up the game, but were too lazy to actually fix its problems and just slapped on a band-aide they found in a dumpster instead?

Hmm...

Red Orchestra was one - awful game.

Another would be STALKER - which seemed like the perfect game for me till I realised how buggy and rubbish it was.
