I'd defend them, but not up to the point where I seem obsessive.

GTA IV. It surprises me how much shit that game gets. Too much realism, no parachutes, I can't give my character a silly hat, blah blah blah. I honestly think it's the single defining game of this generation.

Poor game, everyone hates it so much
It one of the most immersive games I've ever played.

The rest of the games I like can defend themselves...

Ooh, If I wasn't trying to get The Epic poster Badge, I would have a battle of the wits with you. Alas...

Duke Nukem 3D for me, I can't think of a single flaw besides no Quicksave, and thats as minor as it gets. The shooting was great, every enemy required skill to kill, and the shrinker... well it was a bit overpowered.

But it had a soul. It was there to have fun, and that is exactly what it did, with parody, wit, excellent shooting and of course; Duke Nukem.

Tis a shame that I may never see a new game like it.
