I loved the Megaman Battle Network series and occasionally play Network Transmission, The moment I saw a 2D sidescroller set in the MMBN universe, I just had to have it and even now, 8 or so years after, I still enjoy playing it from time to time.Belated said:...Mega Man: Network Transmission for the Gamecube, ...
Evil Zone on the PS1,
Although not playing at the moment, I popped it in my PS2 the week before christmas just to relive some childhood memories and bask in some good ol' fashioned nostalgia.Shanicus said:...Megaman X: Command Mission ...
An amazing game and one I, for some reason or another, end up playing during the winter months. I spent my childhood playing that game and trying to unlock all the cool digimon, really a fun game.ExplosionProofTaco said:Digimon World for the PS1. ...
Tyrian is the best Vertical Shooter in the world next to Thunder Force IV except better. Its to Vertical Shooters what Painkiller is to First Person Shooters, its FUN..............and yet no one seemed to notice, no one seemed to reach to the title of "Best Vertical Shooter of All Times"Erik Vroon said:Tyrian, anyone heard of that?
It's a wonderful shoot-em-up flying game from the DOS era. Now with OpenTyrian it can be played on an HD monitor without you being able to count the individual pixels, and after 15 years it's still as addictive as all hell.
a friend of mine still plays it but then again he is a idiot.DeadSp8s said:Duke Nukem Forever
I'm playing that game... I just find it pretty boring, to be honest. Too much in common with NSMBW - right down to getting "bubblefied" when you die. It's a beautiful game (visually at least. I'm not fond of the audio), and a solid platformer, but that's all it is - a solid platformer. It really doesn't bring much new to the table, which is a shame. NSMBW brought in a solid (if frustrating) multiplayer aspect, Donkey Kong Country Returns had amazing level design with dynamic environments, Kirby's Return to Dreamland took the copy ability to the next level... it's not that Rayman Origins is a BAD game, because it's not at all, it's just after those three titles I'm kinda platformed out, and Origins doesn't do enough to get me excited again. You could put that more down to bad timing that anything else though.Snotnarok said:Rayman Origins: I've heard NO one talk about this yet others go on and on about that Mario Wii game that made me want to kill my friends over(bumping against friends, ENRAGING thanks Nintendo) it's 4 player 2D platforming heaven. It's beautiful, has great music, 4-player co-op, is a fun game that brings challenge.

SimAnt! I remember playing that on a mac back in the dayFreaky Lou said:SimAnt. One of the games that marked my childhood; but apparently obscure enough that it turns up on "Can you believe this existed" lists in magazines and on websites.
