In the beginning of Resistance, when Nathan looks at the photograph of the Soldiers from Project Abraham, what the fuck is that thing in the window?

there is nothing in the window. acctually to be truthful there isn't any window in that picture either. What you are seeing is an open painted simple wooden shutter. The image itself is an optical illusion created by the natural knots in wood, the reflective nature of the out door paint, and the flash of the camera used. if you brighten up the picture you can see the wood grain around it it and its elypitical shape, which are tell tail signs of a flash.

what the hell is in gman's briefcase?!?

a simple computer.

you can see it in half life if you use no clip when he is in the room near the start of the game. he doesn't move much and you can noclip into the breifcase.

i believe you can get a better look at it in opposing fronts. i am not too sure, but i believe he has his breifcase open as he reactivates the nuke.
