Your username is ScrewValve, really REALLY! How can you call steam a rental service, and say its turned into an xbox live. All it does is let you download games and let you chat with friends cross game there is nothing much to hate about it. You are seriously coming off as a troll. *hits report button*

OT: I would say Cliffy B, he just seems to bring the whole of gaming down with everything he says. Thinking PC gaming is for babies and saying people who gave gears 3 an 8 "haters".
Try selling off the steam games you own on steam, like you could do with boxed retail games, regardless of whether you would sell them or not. You cant, since you dont own them, you're just given a privilege to play them. You can chat with your friends without Steam, you dont need it to do that, there's plenty of free IM clients/overlays that let you do that. Steam is like the Xbox Live because it's a closed off gated infrastructure, from which you launch, update, and uninstall your games, like the xbox live on the consoles. And no, offline mode likes to go online without you telling it. There's no such thing as one-time activation only on steam. I'm not trolling. I do agree with you on CliffyB being a major douche.
You could never sell off most PC games before steam because they normally had a CD key or something like that that made it so you couldn't just sell it off to other people. On steam you will always have the game, if Valve ever goes bust then all of your games will be free of any DRM (not like thees much anyway). Offline mode never goes online without you knowing because it is offline mode, its for people who have frequent downtime with their internet or are travelling. Comparing Steam to Xbox Live is like comparing a dogs dinner with a gourmet meal, Steam doesn't make you pay for online and most of the DLC on there is free, Xbox live doesnt have deals where games go down by 75% off, Steam gives you automatic updates and a place to keep all your games and free things! Also, there is no possible way to sell something that isn't real because then that would increase piracy by a lot, and on steam you do OWN the game; Valve will never take your game away for no reason. You people should stop thinking that Valve is some sort of evil corparation that just wants your money, Steam is just a place where you keep your games and unlike Origin there is no stupid terms that spy on you when youre not knowing.

PS: Calling yourself ScrewValve and then making hateful comments towards them is what made you seem like a troll.

I agree with the claim stating the answer is gamers. Especially PC Gamers.

But if we have to put in a game character...
well, Johnny Cage was designed to be a douche, if not at first, then at least at some point they decided to do that. Especially in the new reboot. But it works.

I have to agree Baird is a bit of a douche (I think that might just be the first time I have ever typed that word!) but he is also funny and sarcastic plus has a (brief) moment in gears 3 when he shows a different side so that makes him awesome as well.

Also how can people complain about mass effect 3 when A - it will be awesome and B - it's not out for another 6 months!

Back in the days you could sell games, even if they had a CD-Key. You couldn't play online with one CD-Key, while someone else with the same key was playing online, but when you sell a game this shouldn't be an issue.
But then those Fucknuggets of publisher established bullshit like registring your cd-key to your computer or using Steam as DRM. And this is, my children, how our kind, the proud people of PC-Gaming, begone our journey in the ghetto that is PC-Gaming these years. Only respected and supled with games by a few, while the majority just despises and insults us, while trying to keep us quiet with buggy console ports and fucking casuel bullshit.

BTT: I second on Bobby Cottick, CliffyB and also "some gamers" (should be clear which I mean)

Also: EA, as a whole. With a special golden douche for those blokes at marketing and thos jerks responsible for origin (whoever this may be exactly)

First off, im not making hateful comments, I'm only not drinking the Valve/steam cool-aid. I havent made any more hateful comments towards Steam than all the hateful comments everyone else has made here towards EA. You can buy and sell games with the cdkey included, i have bought lots of used boxed games this way, with the CDkey included. Steam will go online even if it's offline when it wants to update, and it will stay online, you'll have to revert it back to offline.

David Cage.

He seems to think that his "games" are God's gift to mankind and no one can or should criticize them.
Never heard of him

I personally hated that General guy from Bulletstorm. Tries and acts so tough but he hits enemies softer than a mother's kiss on her baby's cheek.
He's the dude who made Heavy Rain, and he cannot take criticism to save his life.
Ah yes, I can remember reading a bit about him. Though that kind of attitude I've seen in most people 16-25 these days and it's pathetic. Though for him to be like that is pretty unprofessional.
