I'd love to see that happen. Two reviews up for the same game. Or he'll release the same one again as a joke.HentMas said:Interesting
Yahtzee´s review was the winner on the "ZP: choice award"
does it means he will review it... again??
Not me my friend. And I doubt anyone my age or younger will. We can't remember Duke Nukem games.Irridium said:"Salvage enough interest in the game".
From what I understand, almost everyone on the internet will buy this game.
I think the reason he is smiling in that picture is because he has a gun.Shycte said:![]()
I trust Gearbox with this.
Indeed, I feel that tooMegacherv said:After all this Duke Nukem Forever talk, I got a huge urge to play Serious Sam HD, which seems kinda like a Duke Nukem tribute band.
That's a tough call. There's a huge level of online interest in the game, sure, but how much of it is just rubbernecking at the latest chapter in this ridiculously drawn-out train wreck? It's the Snakes on a Plane syndrome: It attracted massive amounts of attention from the nerd fan base but when the rubber met the road, it was all just ironic lolz. Nobody actually went to see it, and it bombed. I wouldn't be at all surprised if DNF worked out the same way.Irridium said:From what I understand, almost everyone on the internet will buy this game.
Go and play it now, and set the colour saturation up to full.josemlopes said:Indeed, I feel that tooMegacherv said:After all this Duke Nukem Forever talk, I got a huge urge to play Serious Sam HD, which seems kinda like a Duke Nukem tribute band.
You know that won't happen. He'll skip it just to piss everyone off.Ralen-Sharr said:I guess maybe Yahtzee will get a chance to do a second pass on the review for this one
True enough I suppose. From what I've seen thats what happened with Alan Wake. Got massive amounts of hype due to how little it was shown, then when it came out it didn't sell particularly well.Andy Chalk said:That's a tough call. (For the record, I saw Snakes on the Plane. It wasn't as good as I'd hoped, which of course is another concern facing DNF: Over-hype.)
Hey, I loved Shadow Warrior! Sure it was a Duke clone, but it was really gory, you had a katana to slice your enemies (a gimmick that Hideo Kojima seems to be into now) and some funny voice acting. Plus how many shooters give you naked anime chicks and a Beating Heart for a weapon?Gearbox co-founder Randy Pitchford began his career at 3D Realms, working on the Plutonium Pak expansion for Duke Nukem 3D in 1996 along with the somewhat less-well-received FPS Shadow Warrior.
I liked it too. Wish I could find a copy somewhere. But it terms of sales or popularity, there's no comparison.twm1709 said:Hey, I loved Shadow Warrior!
