FROM can probably make anything they want at this point with that kind of dosh rolling in.

Not only did it beat out Horizon Forbidden West, but it also did better than Battlefield 2042 and Far Cry 6.

Always good to see VG’s being used for rehabilitation to fly in the face of the detractors. Also hell yeah to the GWT director’s new studio, to also fly in the face of people saying women can’t lead in the industry.

Lastly, this is the first I’ve heard of Jack in decades and he’s still bitching about that ratings/violence crap? What a sour apple. It’s almost like he’s unaware there hasn’t even been a new GTA game in nearly a decade, yet somehow it’s now suddenly responsible for the very recent uptick in NYC crime? No other factors at play huh. Yeesh. It’s not even worth pondering his reasoning because he’s a fucking moron who deserves some humble pie to shut him up for good.

Another State of Play this week, but focusing on that new Harry Potter game. So if you are interested in HP still I guess keep yoru eye on this.

Considered me not interested, if this is all they're showing for State of Play. My interest in Harry Potter pretty much dropped after high school.

I feel like this should be most people. But alas....that isn't the case.
They're allowed to like and play whatever they want, but for me it's not worth it. Especially when the author is such a spoiled, entitled, biatch. I should also make it a correction, I stopped caring about Harry Potter around the age of 16. I had long stop being invested in that point. I just tried to be, but couldn't really commit. I said that to some people that were still invested at the time, but it was just to make them feel better. Avatar: Last Airbender was on my radar and other stuff. I'm still invested in the Avatar series in certain spinoffs. I still got to finish book one of Kiyoshi, and I plan on rewatching the original series on Blu-ray later. Right after Peacemaker.

I will mostly be waiting for the game to get ported to PC and someone to make the inevitable Harry Pothead mod. I still won’t buy it but it would at least be worth a Youtube search.

I enjoyed Harry Potter at the time. I would still say I can enjoy it but wouldn't say it was something I was very heavily invested in compared to other kids of the time. I think there's a lot that's done well in the series and a lot that's done poorly. It's not a world that tickles my interest in character relationships (Of all kinds, not just romance) nor does it excite me with its systems since they lack restrictions and details on how they work that I enjoy. But the series does lend itself to a sense of wonder, the kind that's perfect for kids and early teens.

This does not bode well for SS3. Tencent is the only developer left on this thing. It might as well be canceled, if they are the only ones left.
Tencent? Great, calling it now: Cheap jumpscares and microtransactions out the wazoo. Maybe $5.99 for a blue skin for SHODAN?

More proof that we're in the timeline where we're not allowed to have nice things.

@Chimpzy, @Dalisclock, @RhombusHatesYou, @The Rogue Wolf. Back in 2018, I made a "Do We Even Need a System Shock 3?" Thread on Easy Allies Forum. Now that question is heading more and more towards the we don't need it, if this is how the game is going to be. Looks like it is back to Dead Space 1 & 2, Bioshock, Prey (2017), Evil Within 2, and Atomic Heart whenever it comes out for the System Shock experience.

Dead Space 3 with the serial numbers filed off.
Dead Space 3 actually looks fun by comparison to whatever SS3 turns in to.

Which reminds me, I have to check on the status of Negative Atmosphere. Dead Space's spiritual successor.

This was inevitable

Fresh from setting an initially impressive speedrun time for Elden Ring (that's since been broken), streamer LilAggy has turned his attention back to Dark Souls Remastered.

This isn't a speedrun though. It's a poop run.

Yes, LilAggy has managed to complete the game using nothing but poop (thanks, Kotaku).

How? There's an item in the game called a dung pie that causes poison damage - both to you and to enemies - that lasts up to ten minutes. It means defeating bosses becomes a challenge of avoiding their attacks while waiting for their health to slowly deplete.

To aid in this poopy quest, there's one specific merchant who sells an endless supply of dung pies. How exactly she makes these "pies" is a question I do not want an answer to.

He does take a few liberties with certain bosses though. For instance, opening boss the Asylum Demon cannot be killed with poop because no poop is available that early on - the player's own from fear notwithstanding. Later on there's the Iron Golem who's immune to poison damage.

Still, after seven and a half hours - four of which were spent on the final boss alone - LilAggy finished the game with poop.

If you thought players were getting creative with Elden Ring builds, then Dark Souls Remastered can still offer a shit time.

Check out the run for yourself below.
