Not sure if you are referring to me, but can't blame me for being skeptical. I definitely don't have a good feeling about this, and don't trust any of it.
What is there to be skeptical about?

What about them announcing an upcoming rewards program makes you go; "oh, Sony is arrogant".

Agreed that LH is not good. It's a fucking travesty. As for learning aspects of Japanese society, I find plenty of anime that did those parts better.
I would say he was good at creating characters but not good at giving them a plot to work with. Love Hina would have worked better if it had been a pure slice of life story about everyone in the Inn.

This doesn't feel right. Feels like another one of their program is to make you feel special. I'm already not liking the PlayStation Plus "upgrades", so I'm not exactly excited about this. If you don't see the problems, oh well. I am not dwelling on it.

I have to disagree with the characters. It depends on who you're talking about. Naru and Mitsune, I don't find all that well written. The latter just felt like looking at a worse version of Ryoko. And even the worst version of Ryoko would tell both of these characters to fuck off. Su just felt kind of whatever, and your usual wacky, dark skin, barefooted character. She is just a less interesting version of Ed. Shinobu it's just your now typical shy girl. I didn't hate her, but I didn't exactly mind her either. Motoko is the most interesting of the girls, and at least has a fully developed arc. With that said, I'm still not exactly the biggest fan of her either.

I do agree with you about being a standard slice of life. Had it been that way, the story would have been all better for it. LH to me at least, was always just the worst version of Tenchi Muyo. I know Tenchi didn't invent the genre, but the franchise popularized it. LH gave the genre "new life", but with most people taking the worst parts of the genre and going even further into meteorocity or badness.

Well when I said character I meant that all of those characters had a base where they could have been great. The base of each character was such that if they were given something interesting to do then they could be part of a great story. People really like Motoko and she is an example of my point because she was allowed to have her own story arc separate from the repetitive college stuff and Naru+Keitaro relationship treadmill.

I agree with you, not a great manga, but there's good elements in there that are brought down by a weak main plot that all the other characters are forced to orbit around.

I've only read bits and parts of the manga and later dropped it due to no interest in going further. I did watch the anime once online, but that was it. I didn't even bother with any of the movies.

Also, should you really be commenting on how others do their business, Johnny boy, oh ceo of Unity, a company that only weeks ago fired several hundred people tho you promised there would be no layoffs, and which has gained something of a reputation for "shit show" mismanagement? Glass houses and all.

That can't be true, only Elden Ring can have Bad UI/UX.Ubisoft games are made of pure mechanical/aesthetic perfection covered in a sweet coating of microtransactions and GAAS.

So, as someone with only scant experience with the Souls series (far enough in the past to where I barely remember anything aside from generalized frustration), what's wrong with the UI?

Looks like the deal here is done and now Sony owns Destiny for whatever that's worth.
So here's a funny thing: I recently reinstalled Destiny 2 to play through the story solo (something I'd managed to complete a while back). They changed the entire structure of the game and now you can't get more than three missions through the story without needing to do a multiplayer strike; it seems obvious to me that they want new players getting acclimatized to multiplayer, so that they feel the need to buy cosmetics to show off to other players. I'm done with multiplayer gaming, so it's getting uninstalled.

Easy with those windmills there, Don.
Psst. Just an interjection: "Don" is a title. Quixote (or, fully, Quixote de la Mancha) is the character's name.

I've been done with FPS multiplayer since MW2! The only exception is Bulletstorm, because you have to work together to get the best scores from killing enemies, and beat the other teams kill count. It's so cool and a unique P vs. E style of multiplayer that has not been replicated since. People still play the multiplayer too. Every other MP game I play are either brawlers, and sometimes fighting games.

Realistically i figure that sony isnt about the Destiny money since the game has mostly run its course. But more with another shooter looter than they can have exclusively and shit on Halo fans with. Especially since Halo is a wet fart overall.

Most people would say it's fine. A couple devs from Ubisoft, Guerrilla games and some other company started throwing shade at ER not long after it started getting rave reviews on twitter and apparently forgot that they were doing this ON TWITTER. TWITTER responded in the way TWITTER often does and dogpiled the shit out of them, and led to jokes like this.

The fact ER scored better then the latest Ubisoft games and Horizon:Forbidden West made it look like the devs were being pretty salty.

I'm not trying to defend twitter here and I don't use it at all, but if I did I'd know enough about it to know that if I tweeted something like, for example, "HALO is a garbage series for incel man-children" and not sarcastically, I would expect to get ratiod pretty fucking quickly(and for the record, I don't think HALO is a garbage series for incel man-children, it just doesn't do much for me personally. If other people enjoy it, I'm happy for them). I sure as hell wouldn't post that without being ready for some pushback.

Clearly you need to shoot it in the head.

It's the only way to be sure.

Saw first episode. Fuck me it's bad. Aside from some names and basic concepts, it has little to do with Resident Evil. Which would be fine if it did anything interesting to make up for it. It's half post-apocalyptic mad max shit, half angsty teenage drama. It's dumb and cliched, but not in a fun way. Characters are annoying. Dialogue is cringe. Acting is poor, except Lance Reddick, cuz he's Lance Reddick. Dodgy effects. You couldn't get invested if your tried.
