Jak and Daxter were ported to the ps4, along with Jak X and The Lost Frontier, though that is the psp version not the ps2 version.
A generation ago.
If they ported Bloodborne to PC (like they've done with pretty much every other exclusive at this point) they'd have a money printer
But PC is where all the pirates live, don't'cha know. (At least, that's the rationale I've heard so goddamn often.)

A Bloodborne remake/port is what Sony holds over the heads of fans to get them to buy other stuff. "Hey, we're not really sure if you want Bloodborne, but if you buy this game we might consider it!"

Good thing not-Bloodborne 2 is coming to Switch 2. Sony fucked up again by waiting too long and not doing a damn thing, but tugging fan's heart strings.

Bloodborne is Sony's Final Fantasy 7, a game to be remade when you've fucked up so bad you need to instantly win the audience back.

Oh, lord, Bloodborne with multiverse theory. I don't know if I'm horrified (negative) or horrified (positive) by that thought.
Have you heard the theory that the painting in DS3's Ashes of Ariandel dlc is actually the Bloodborne world?

Exclusivity is officially dead on Xbox. All those fanboys are crying right now.
GoW itself is a fun game, and I have been looking forward to getting it on PC.

BBBUUUTTTT I have two major beefs
  1. Now it's all but confirmed that MS hates Console production and game exclusivity
  2. Why is the first game the only game getting all the attention? GOW2 and 3 are also really fun, at least in my memory.
At the very least they are smart enough to not ask for $80. $40 is still expensive, though

Then why did they even bother getting invested in the first place all the way back in 2001? What did they think was going to happen?

My guess is that they are "testing the waters". Depending on how well this goes, they're gonna do a trickle effect where they will release the next title individually, and so on. If they're doing that then all these titles should only be priced at $20.

I am guessing it's because back then, consoles were still a profitable investment. I would argue that even Xbox One still had some hope especially after Don Mattrick left.

I hoenestly pin the blame on Game Pass; Great idea in theory, and it looked amazing for people who didn't want to play for every new releases. But MS has been stupidly centralizing the Xbox brand around it.

Just the thought if MS not making consoles and turn into a 3rd-party game publisher is wild. This is gonna be an insane shift in the industry, kinda like how Nintendo beat Sega, then Sony and MS became the competitors

I was never big on GP, even in its early days. Yet I tolerated it for the time. As Seraphim17 pointed out back in 2022, it's nothing more than glorified DRM and a worse version of Steam and GOG.

It's like they're scared even try anymore or afraid they're not going to make all the money in the universe. At least Sony and Nintendo bother to make games for their platforms. Even when a Sony 1st party game gets ported to PC 1-2 years later.
