Just when I thought I was out...
Apparently Naughty Dog (and Nixxes) just released a chronological update for TLoU2, which seems to give you the option to play the game in chronological order. Something a lot of people have asked about, or certainly pondered how it would maybe improve the story, but not something I thought was ever going to happen other than maybe through a mod. But now it's here. And do I dare? *sigh*

If you don't wanna play again, then don't. Not worth another 14 hours for me at least.
I dont think that would fix the story and I am never touching that game again to see.
No it wouldn't - it would probably hurt the gameplay experience switching between characters like that - but it's still interesting to see an update like this.
The update for Jill's letter at Kendo's shop in Resident Evil 2 Remake, in Leon's campaign is more rewarding than this.
The updates to Gungrave GORE are better than this. At least those updates actually made the game fun to play and removed the one hit death hazards and very bad platforming.

I have watched it, and while I was already going to buy this anyway, now I'm significantly excited.
Been 10 years since Satoru Iwata passed.
I wouldn't go as far as calling Iwata the one good gaming ceo, because executives can inherently not be what I consider good. But I do think the industry would not look as it does were it run by Iwatas instead of the likes of Koticks, Wilsons, Spencers, etc.

I don't mind the BayoxJeanne pairing, even if it's non canon (I know the second game somewhat hints at it, but that was under a different director and writers unfortunately), but calm your ass down.
- Kamiya isn't even at platinum anymore. He quit over eight months ago. He's back at calm now, making a new Okami. Most of the old Platinum alumni are back at capcom now.
- You shouldn't wish for them to go out of business. It's mostly new people at Platinum now (a majority of them didn't work on the bayonetta games), and they're all almost young twenty somethings. They're working with KT on Ninja Gaiden 4, so Platinum is not going anywhere. This game is pretty much their Metal Gear Rising 2.

Wouldn't that just frontload the game with all the walky talky past tense stuff and make it so you have to trudge through playable cutscenes for hours before you get to any of the good stuff?
