So apparently Troy Baker is now shilling for NFTs. *sigh*

Now, the guy has always been a bit of a douchey diva, but Christ man, REALLY!? "You can hate. Or you can create." Eat my asshole dude!

He’s too cool with being up his own ass to acknowledge the massive energy strain all this “creation” will, well, create…on top of the already pathetic bitcoin scheming that it ultimately relies upon to succeed.

The cherry on top is of course that most - if not all - of these NFT’s “securely” floating in the ethos will undoubtedly lead to the betterment of society in so many meaningful ways. /sarcasm.

Update on Bobby:

I do hope MS sticks with this, considering the mass public favor they will gain

It makes you wonder why they bothered stating he would stay on at all, unless they were still fishing for public reaction, as if it wasn’t clear enough already.

This trailer reminds me of possibly my least favorite aspect of Aloy, and it has nothing to do with anything visually but instead it’s audible. I just don’t really care for her speaking voice. There’s so much pensive whispering where it sounds like she’s stressed out, and it kinda makes me think about turning the dialog volume down.

Glad that never happened. Don't need another rich asshole trying to change the narrative and own gaming news sites.

I would not mind trying that out a few hours a day.

Inspirational.

We already have enough rich assholes controlling the media we consume. Last thing we need is another one doing it just to act as apologists for A/B's bad behavior.

It's wierd because her VA(Ashley Burch) has range(She's Tiny Tina and but there's also "Hey Ash, Whatcha Playing?") but for whatever reason she pretty much does her "kinda bored" voice for much of the game. I'm guessing this is a directing issue.

Ngl, I actually teared up a little bit for all the nostalgia this trailer gave me. I used to play the shit out of the original Lego SW 1 & 2 with my sister, sometimes played late into the night we were late for school the next day.

You know how ads always talk about "re-inventing the established gameplay" or "innovative gameplay", but they always end up more or less the same? Well this actually DO look like a re-imagining of the classic Lego games. I am very excited for this. AND They added the classic mumble mode! It was one of the most requested thing since the reveal, and the devs actually took time to implement mumbling dialogs! Good on them

It might work in everyone's favor; the different dev teams gets more time to work on the game and possibly bring new and fresh contents, Activision gets to milk the crap out of each title before the next one comes out, and players don't have to open their wallet every year. Everyone "wins" here

Technically, each devs (Infinity Ward, Treyarch, and Sledgehammer) do take turns and take 3-5 years into developing the next title from their respective studios, but this plan will allow them to have more time.

Fuck me, I might actually start buying COD games again if this plan do get implemented
