I've moved on from online games, EA and BF reputation is at an all-time low, and I have low expectation for this.

....BBBUUUTTTT I am gonna give it a look anyway. I am more than happy to be proven wrong.

I will do the open-beta testing, and see if it's worth my time

I am expecting the moment I am greeted with main menu filled with the typical live-service bullshit (buy our premium pass, check out what's on store this week, etc), which I am numb for these days. I will just focus on whether the game is at least decent.

I survived playing Diablo Immortal PC launch, and BF 2042 open beta. I think I can handle another bullshitery, unless EA throws something crazy

Apparently Project L (new name sucks I refuse to use it) will have a beta and then somehow just, be available in permanent beta state from September 9. Not sure if we have anyone interested here, but there you go. It looks kinda lame but it's free and I'm a competitive fighting game player so I'll give it a go cause it may still be fun. I'll prolly main Yasuo.

Xbox announced that their first 80 dollar game would be the Outer Worlds 2. However they just secretly cut the price by 10 bucks, making it a regular 70 dollar game instead. Also Boarderlands 4 is 70 bucks as well despite these CEO's talking 80 bucks.

Cool, still not buying either of their shit, unless my older brother is interested, or both of these games are the price of a 6th-8th generation AAA title or less. Now fuck off MS and Gear Box!

Another scum-fuckers in a gaming industry whom not only are underpaying v-tubers, but also owns charity foundation a signifcant amount of donation that was promised.

The company website is not inaccessible

We just had this bullshit with The Completionist. It's happening again.

ironmouse's expose

Honestly, as someone who volunteers at non-profit, shit like this pisses me off to no end

That's why I dont donate to charity. It's never going towards what they say. And they never solve any of the issues they promise.
So I think personal, direct donations are fine, and every dollar is appreciated. But for the case of TC or Vshojo, it's the fact that they acted as the third party, collecting the donation money from viewers and vtubers.

I think this 3rd party thing is where everyone needs to be REALLY careful. Because obviously they are gonna propose larger amounts compared to individual donation, and it's gonna have more impact on the charity mission. But it's also the part where the corruption can happen like this.

And this is why I don't tune into any charity streams or events in gaming

I posted news about this already on the other threads of this forum, but I appreciate it too.

An update: Every Vshoujo employee is leaving that's a v-tuber.

The graphics and destructible environments look amazing, NGL. Now I just need to see what the multiplayer will look like

So they are clearly bringing campaign back. It looks like NYC will be one of the battle sites. Kinda feel bad for people there in fictional world, as their cities get torn down in just about every medium.

Now I am aware campaign usually suck for these FPS games, consisting of you're typical military drama cliche, but I still think it's better than being multiplayer-only. Because it gives a context and world-building to why these wars are happening.

Yes, there are other ways to do this, like how Overwatch used to do with their shorts and web comics (before everything went down the shitter), but it has to be done well in order to make up for the missing story mode. Besides, I much rather be part of the story and have interaction within, rather than watching/reading about it.

Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4 campaigns have some defenders, though every agrees that Battlefield 1's and both Bad Company campaigns are better or considered the best of the franchise. Japan loves BFV for some reason too.

Oh yeah, forgot about BF1 and BC campaigns. Which reminds me, whatever tf happened to Bad Co. 3? IIRC it ended in a cliff hanger. Kinda miss that hilarious crew.

Looking back, BF3 campaign wasn't too bad, just....boring. BF4 was straight crap, tho.

And then there was BF Hardline. To its credit, it stayed away from military drama....and went with crime drama cliche instead lol

Here.

Battlefield: Bad Company developer DICE has explained there's no Bad Company 3 in the works at the moment as it's hard to pin down exactly what people liked about the original two games.
How is it so hard for DICE to figure out? Did they lose brain cells after making so many bad games?

Speaking of, this game just lauched:

Seems interesting, has some ex blizz guy behind it, unique concept and nice art style.

But its a PvP only and already has pretty low player count...

Seems like it will almost certainly bleed player and quickly die out. Maybe not making it F2P was the right move, but seems like a losing move imo.
