And I've got a few but they've back slid. There is a PS5 version of this game. Not that I'm complaining as I've got more storage for the 4 than the 5 but it seems odd to me that PS+ made both version available this month. I think I finally determined to get a PS5 when they did this with A Plagues Tale? but offered only the PS5 for +. Supposedly helps developers focus on using the full power of a system when they let go of the past and focus on the present. At this rate? PS4 will continue to be supported by the time we get PS6!
There is a playstation leak that I saw that said the Ps6 will be backwards compatible with ps4 and ps5 games.
Frankly I think Playstation is smart with this, by keeping the same programming model since the Ps4, they can offer ps4 games through at least even the next generation as well. This allows people who've skipped the Ps5 a chance at a bigger upgrade in the Ps6 while not missing out on anything from the Ps5.
Not all leaks are accurate of course, but the leak went through specs and plans and everything and seems pretty convincing without being crazy. Maintaining BW compatibility has been a big selling point across all the latest consoles. It also means that developers don't have to scrap PS5 plans and rush to the Ps6. There are a lot of benefits and the only downside is that it makes the Ps5 feel redundant but people already had that opinion so Sony has nothing to lose really.

It's really not much of a downside, if said persons already enjoying the console, they purchased or the games, they were buying for it anyway. These consoles are always a risk. It's why I wait at least one and a half or two years to get a console. It's still going to be a minute before the next console comes out. So they can either just get this now or keep waiting for the new console.
Oh one thing the Leak also said is that production of the Ps6 is supposed to begin in mid-2026 and expected to release around the holidays of 2027. Which seems reasonable. Most generations of consoles are around 7 years.

It's really up to you. If you're having fun, and the game's online is actually working, then you're good to go.
If you ever decide to get the game when it comes out later this year, can you let met know how the single player is? If you're not into the single player, that's okay.
As someone who has played Genshin on a phone a fair bit, the memory space and battery requirements are definitely something to consider, but I might be biased because my own phone is pretty old. The touch screen controls work pretty well, though, and the graphics are surprisingly comparable to the PC and console versions. Nothing inherently wrong, but you know these type of games and ZZZ have no appeal to me at all. Art style and soundtrack aside for the latter.

Illustrating what I'm saying, in 2024, if you had +, you really wanted to get a PS4 or miss out on a ton they were "giving" away.
Still a few for PS5 only. Which is why I got it but still, most of what you get with Essentials can be had for PS4 as well.
