RDR is coming to modern platforms....EXCEPT PC! It's even coming out for mobile devices lol

Also they are announcing this via youtube shorts, which in itself is weird enough

Which game?
This month on PS+ Stray and Tabs. I put the PS4 versions on my daughter's PS4. Maybe 1 to customer as when I tried to do the same on my PS5, it said unavailable. (I take PS4 versions when available as I can play them from an extended drive and they really do not look or play much different on PS4 than 5. Did that with "Life of P".

Strange, the console lets me select the PS4 version for both of those games and download it, albeit through different looking UIs.

Now I am not the leading-expert in the world of business, but is Ubisoft even allowed to do this?

Also, if this is a sign of the company's immediate failure.... well, I might crack open that vintage wine I have been saving

Oh boy, it's that time of the year again. Hoping to see both Silksong and Expedition 33 on the GOTY nominee

That's nothing new. The PS5 and PS4 versions of Gungrave GORE not only have differnt icons, but are different versions of the same game. The PS5 and Series X version plays more like Overdose, while in the PS4/ONE version, it plays more like the first game with how Grave moves and all.

Fuck the VGAs. I am sticking with the indie awards show this year. E33 has multiple nominations at that showing too.

The only GOTY awards show I care about is the yearly GOTY discussion threads here.
Too bad there's not many left on the forum for these discussions. I just go to Famiboards, as they already got like two of these type threads running right now.

Okay, VGAs can suck major balls, but as long as they tone down on the spectacles, and focus more on announcements and actual awards, I am happy.

Plus, we all get to argue over what games deserves certain award, and that engagement is something that I am always fascinated by

That's what bothers me. The VGAs are pretty much E3 with a new face. I only can bother with these are when Max and YoVideoGames are streaming separately or together. They at least make it entertaining and bearable.

That lost its luster for me around the 2019ish, but it technically started for me back in 2014 when Bayonetta 2 got snubbed at the VGAs, because the judges that it would look bad for them and their precious "good reputation". One of those "Puritan" judges still has an account to a soft core porn site, so the hypocritical biatch has no room to talk nor criticize.

IGN on Metroid Prime 4:

After tiptoeing through an eerie, condensed part of Fury Green, I came across a crash-landed Galactic Federation ship, where I was immediately taken aback by the tonal whiplash. My way here was filled with hauntingly beautiful choral melodies and isolated exploration – it was vintage Metroid Prime. But now, it’s finally time to get to know specialist Myles MacKenzie, who introduced himself with this honestly cringey monologue (and if you don't believe me, watch it in the video version of this preview at the top of the page):

“Oh wow! Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow. What a mess. You’re alone, on a planet, with no hope of survival. But, you’re also not sitting next to Phil anymore in that cubicle… So… Win?”

He didn’t leave a great first impression, but I was still intrigued to see where it went. Samus and Myles got swarmed by some jungle monsters, and it became my job to protect Myles from them. After a close-quarters firefight that concluded with shooting the vines holding up Myles’ ship, he awarded me with the missile upgrade for being his savior. “This is fine,” I thought. I prefer isolation in Metroid, but I don’t mind running into a character here and there to flesh out the story with some voice acting and cutscenes. But then…

“If it's OK with you, I’m gonna tag along. So, where to? It might be a good idea to check the map and get our bearings.”

I started to get a sinking feeling. In one turn, Samus not only gained an unwanted companion, that companion also instantly started chiming in on what I should be doing, like Atreus to Kratos in God of War, or Aloy to… Aloy in Horizon. The next 20 minutes of my demo ranged from mildly annoying to downright infuriating, as Myles constantly bombarded me with either awkward attempts at quippy humor…

“It’s about to get reeeeal nerdy in here!”

Unwelcome hints that directly defy Metroid’s spirit of exploration and discovery:

“Missiles are effective against a creature with a hard shell, you know."

He would scold me for not stopping to save my game:

“Samus, there's something interesting over there. Are you sure we don’t need to use that?”

Comment on everything I scanned:

“Can you read that? Does that say anything about this place? They really don’t want anyone in here. Must be a sacred space.”

State the obvious:

“I can see the door, Samus! Let's get out of here.”
It never stops, the modern companion. I said only a few days ago,

Someone said, "Max talks way too much in this game to convince me that the devs are in any way fans of the franchise." Yeah. I would much rather have had the dog as a companion than the talkative hunchback. Studios are so afraid of making protagonists solitary. Of the silence.

Also didn't need to know that it's pronounced Samus Erin from this character. Wouldn't have known if they kept it solitary. I always assumed it was Samus Ah-rahn (Uh-rahn), and in my native language we don't have trouble pronouncing that, unlike the way English speakers almost all say "Super Merry-oh."
