New research into problematic gaming released.

Their main takeaways is that it is when gaming takes up so much time that other healthy habits (such as eating and sleeping properly) are thrown aside that it becomes a problem.
That's sorta true of everything... like even if they were just reading book, if you do that to the point where you stop eating and skip sleep it would be just as bad.

The silence on Highguard has been broken with an announcement... of an announcement. That will come out on release day.

To be fair, what is there really to talk about - I mean, it's a hero shooter. 🤷‍♂️

So not so soon after Xbox Microsoft Developer Direct, there was a interview done with the Fable devs. One section has caught the attention of many.

So, we talk about how our morality system is more about shades of gray. It's more about the subjectivity of morality that honestly we see in the world today. There's no objective good, there's no objective evil. You couldn't get everyone in the world to agree that something is evil or something is good. That just doesn't happen.
In other words, you won't see a halo or horns growing.

I mean I guess what they are saying is technically true, but I feel it could've been done so that only we, the players, see the changes in appearance. Then again, it might be weird to see none of the NPCs comment on your appearance.

I already know my brother is not going to care much, nor see this interview. He just wants to play the game, and always goes for good guy/paragon any way.

Apparently Geoff Kealey posted on X a meme about accepting people's apologizes in 24 hours or whenever this game launches.

Yep. Funny thing is, the meme he posted is quoting John Hammond from Jurassic Park. Apparently, he forgot how that turned out.

It's unlocked on Steam in 1 hour. So we'll see.

I will say that the lack of marketing is actually being pretty good marketing because a lot of people are talking about the game in that regard. So it might be low-key brilliant.

Damn, I was about to post the launch trailer that they just released.

If you go on youtube and look up "Highguard launch trailer", you will currently find two videos; One on the official HG channel, and the other on the TGA channel.

Both are ther exact same trailer, but the one on the Official channel has 3.1k likes vs 660 dislikes

The trailer on TGA channel has 249 likes vs 290 dislikes.

(this is as of this post, and probably will change).

Sigh..... expect a review thread from me soon.

Game Devs Skipping GDC 2026 Over ICE Concerns, US Safety Fears

An interviewed person stated the four most frequently cited reasons for skipping out:
  1. San Francisco being perceived as "unpleasant and expensive"
  2. A desire to protest the U.S. government's aggression towards their countries
  3. Concerns about being required to disclose social media activity upon entering the country
  4. Personal safety fears related to the actions of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement

1. is valid San Fran is a shithole and crazy pricy.
2. Also valid I guess. the article doesn't really say who these devs are or where they're from so it's hard to tell. 1
3. That doesn't make sense, that's never been required of anyone as far as i know
4. There is nothing to fear, people are allowed to visit legally this comes across as fear mongery.
