Let it Die is dying, but in a rare win for the live service game space, they are converting the game to a offline playable version that trims out the live service shit and it'll just become a normal game you can buy and play without the servers needing to be online.

Yeah, they really have a problem with Bond, to provide four pre-order costumes but none of them the suit.

I don’t have massive goldeneye nostalgia, I played it with friends but always liked Syphon Philter and quake 2 more back in the day, but I do feel like revisiting that world since I haven’t interacted with any James Bond property for decades at this point. This game looks like a prequel so it works well for returning fans I think. Maybe the suit will be just a normal costume everyone gets as they advance in the story.

Wears it much later? It was fucking dumb in Casino Royale. Like becoming 007 would really change his tastes and the class that he grew up in. They wanted to imitate Batman Begins, but it just didn't make sense. Later he stopped wearing the suit anyway, and when he did again in Skyfall and onward, he often wouldn't wear a bowtie or any tie at all, because the truth is that he doesn't belong in our time. A video game could place him in his own time, while a movie can't because of cost. Begin in the mid to late 1950s and finish his run in the '60s.

From an outside perspective, this makes sense. It's not like they really have to compete with XBox anymore.

I think the fact that IT ISN'T a hero-shooter is helping with the player count; Although it still has plethora of problems
The "shells" sure want to be hero-adjacent, and the microtransactions are as egregious as any Overwatch clone.

I mean exactly. How long have i been telling you people this was going to happen? The reason why I kept shitting on MS so much is because I NEEDED them to be competitive so that Playstation stays awesome.

Now that MS is fucked forever now, their games are coming to PS and Sony no longer has to hold back on the bullshit. So long as Playstation still farts out a killer exclusive here and there, they can also spew dogshit whenever they want because it's not like people can run off to PC or Xbox for their actual good games.

Fuck MS man, they were keeping Sony honest.
