However, directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor (seen here in the painful intro to the trailer) have directed the films [b/]Crank, Crank 2[/b], and [small/]Gamer[/small]. That's not exactly a sterling record (!!?!).

Crank 1 & 2 are some of the best action movies ever. If this movie is anywhere near as crazy and over the top as those movies it'll be worth more than one view.

But Gamer is in there also so I suppose this could go either way. I still like Nickolas Cage, he may be in a lot of shit but when he's good he's REALLY good.

I don't have high expectation for this movie. Even though Marvel Studios may be on a roll with their independent productions, this is not a Marvel Studios movie, it's a Columbia Pictures movie, and we all know how their super hero movies have turned out...

The Crank movies were actually great. Not really "good" great, but "so bad it's good" great. Which is still great, I loved them. They were just fun as hell to watch.

God knows that wouldn't be a bad thing for Ghost Rider.

Good god, am I one of the only people who LIKED the first Ghost Rider film?!

I kind of enjoyed it. It wasn't really a good movie, but it's still kind of fun. I mean, it's about Nicholas Cage turning into a guy with a flaming skull for a head, riding a motorcycle, and frying evildoers.

It was just so crazy, it was hard not to like. Kind of like Cage himself.

meh, ever since Iron Man 2 the Marvel films (except for X-Men: First Class) have been one disappointment after another. Though I can't expect this to be a disappointment since there's no expectations for it. Poor Nic Cage; maybe if he didn't make stupid financial decisions he wouldn't have to resort to schlock (though admittedly this film is because he's a huge fan of Ghost Rider)

Ill watch it just like any other movie about one of my favorite superheros such as Captain America and The Punisher. This trailer does make it look alot darker than the other one but I'm not exactly sure how as you're not seeing him rip demons apart. Maybe its the dirtied up skull/jacket?

To be honest I felt that Ghost Rider seemed to be somthing close to a TV series like "Supernatural" in some of their comic storylines, but others definetly screamed Rated R movie blockbuster.

Would love to see the whole Ghost Rider goes to hell...breaks out and brings back Satan story arc .

Heres hoping this one kicks ass

Honestly I wanted to like the first movie more than I did. The concept of Ghost Rider seems really cool to me. This looks better. Hope the fights are longer than the first one.

Yah I loved the first movie because of the hellishnes of the action, mainly the "LOOK INTO MY EYES". This one looks like it will have more action scenes. I thought he turned into Ghost Rider at night and in the day he turned back into Nicholas Cage, but in the trailer he walks around in the desert in the middle of the day in his skeleton fire form. The only bad thing it seems will be the abscence of the vengance of the first movie, since come to think of it it reminds me of Batman.
