And what is it with people talking only about Carbon Dioxide? Methane (also called Natural Gas) is 10x worse greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide.
Indeed it is.
Also,
plants themselves produce half the methane generated daily.

Global warming isn't BS.
We know Earth has cooler periods and warmer periods.
What is unknown at this time is what effect did us humans have to it.
Personally, I think we humans have accelerated it and using more wind- and solar energy instead of biofuels (man that was a bad idea), wood and fossil fuels would be a really good idea. Nuclear energy is necessary at the moment but perhaps in 40 to 50 years we could start to get rid of it as well.
Further testing needs to be conducted before wind and solar energy is more widely adopted.
Solar energy literally robs heat from the Earth, which, if used on a mass scale, could do far more ecological damage than global warming.
Wind energy takes energy out of the wind (obviously), but what people never consider is that wind isn't infinite. If you slow down the wind by even a small amount, it will create radical atmospheric changes, most importantly promoting intense storms, such as hurricanes.
Also, your lamentation of biofuels is accurate as well; ethanol only produces 60% of the energy of gasoline, and about 30% of the energy of diesel, but (despite what they tell you) produces half as much CO2 (Is there an [ IMG] code for subscript?) for the same energy than gasoline, however it also creates a hydroxide ion, which will try to rip apart certain other molecules.

antarctic ice sheet is the largest it's ever been
Correct.
You hear from all different sources how fast the Antarctic ice shelf is melting. There's even videos of it.
Here's what they don't tell you:
It's caused by the shift the tectonic plates. The 'side' (Being on the South Pole, it doesn't exactly have East and West) which is melting is slowly moving into warmer, more tropical waters.
However, this means that the other 'side' is getting closer to the pole, which is actually causing the ice shelf to grow faster than the other side is melting.
In essence, the ice shelf is larger than it has been in recorded history (which, due to the way ice layers, is back several thousand years), and for the time being, will only grow.

Do some fucking research.
I agree.
That's why I would like to put forth the most solid proof that Global Warming is a lie:
The theory is backwards.
The theory states that Global Warming is caused by green house gasses which reflect and re-radiate heat back down to Earth.
Makes sense, except that it does more to block heat than reflect it.
100% of the Sun's energy that reaches Earth hits our outer atmosphere.
As it stands, about 30% reflects off instantly.
Through various means, about 55% makes it to the surface of the Earth.
About 15% of what makes it to the surface is immediately absorbed by the land and sea.
This means 40% is reflected back up towards the sky.
Again, due to the reflectivity, about 30% is bounced back.
Except, 30% of 40% is only 12%.
So, if we were to increase the 'reflectiveness and re-radiativeness' of the atmosphere by 50% (absolutely unfeasible, even 1 or 2% is extreme, but I'm using 50 to make the math more apparent), suddenly 45% is reflected off before entering the atmosphere.
But only 18% is reflected back.
If anything, 'greenhouses gasses' are going to bring on an ice age, not a global meltdown.
But what about the greenhouse effect?
Greenhouses are warmer than the surrounding air not due to a 'greenhouse effect', but simply because the structure creates a closed system, where only energy is exchanged, and not matter.
If you try to heat up air, it's going to take you a long time.
If you try to heat up air inside a box, it will go much quicker, because it's the same air you're constantly trying to heat, instead of the entire system shifting energy around through convection, etc.
