Good animes with bad endings

It gets especially confusing as the last minute is the same as the first minute of the first episode, but with 2 characters in different places.

Cowboy Bebop - Lame and way too soon.

On the contrary, I think the ending came at just the right moment, they'd built Fayes growing sense of isolation up perfectly towards the last 4 episodes, and Spike's ongoing mystery with Julia was the backdrop of the series and had to come along at some point....Jets story development seems to be missing completely from the end of the series I admit...but how is it lame? The ending IS cowboy bebop, thats what it does, thats its style...it burns out at its brightest. Saying the ending was lame is like calling out Shawn Michaels for being a great
professional wrestler...

I agree with Shaman King having a bad ending..Also didnt like Witch Blades and Chrono Crusade...thos Endings made me Sooo very sad Fallowed with rage.

i would say that the gundam seed destiny ending was a big let down, all the characters on the arch angel all there suits finished in one piece! when in other gundam animes say endless waltz they get totaly and utterly trashed to pieces. that and neon genesis if you dont watch the movie cause your just kinda like the fuck happed?

Gundam SEED: Destiny was a trainwreck that most gundam fans despise though (not talking about MS design though backpack2: backpack harder got old)

Anyway:
Gundam00: (jesus particles, sure it fit storywise but s1 was really good and in s2 they went with space magic and the 00raiser was untouchable by mooks.
Gundam Unicorn (in production mange ending here from what ive heard))

Whenever I try to think of the worst anime ending, the first name that jumps out every time is Berserk. When I think about it heavily there are worse ones, but nothing leaves me quite as unfulfilled as that.

On the other hand as far as "pointless" endings go, Wolf's Rain takes the cake. It trivializes the entire story leading up to it, and...

they murder a cast of like 15 characters one by one over the final three episodes. Total and complete nonsense.

Like most Asian films and anime the endings are notoriously bad. Either the main character(s) dies, there isn't any sort of closure, or it's just stupid. It's harder to pick a single good ending than it is to randomly spout off ten bad ones, it's that messed up.

But then again for every person that despises an ending I'm sure there's another person out there that liked it to loved it.

It was never made into an anime, but a manga that had a dissapointing ending was Ultimate Hentai Kamen (Not porn. In this case, Hentai is used to mean perverted, as it translates to "Ultimate Perverted Masked Man") It's going fantastically up until the last 6 or so chapters, when there's this big time-skip. Then we find out all kinds of crazy shit that just ruins it. Like

(Spoiler Alert. Not sure how to make the thingy so just don't look below)

-Hentai Kamen is not married to the girl they just spent some 100 chapters all but screaming that he and she were in love and going to get married
-Hentai Kamen is married to this ***** no one liked and that they constantly said he does not want to marry.
-Hentai Kamen now has a 2-year old son who shares his powers, so we now have a two-year old running around with panties on his head. That's fantastic.
-Hentai Kamen's now brother-in-law is gone from the series, despite being an actually cool character.

Not to mention

-There was no point for the time skip at all.
-A helluva lot of issues are left unresolved.
-They never explain why Hentai Kamen did the above things.
-And a lot

Which sucks because it was a really clever, funny series

OT: I would probably go with Soul Eater just because of the whole "courage" thing, although, aside from the fight, the ending was ok.

It was disappointing because Light lost just because migami (I think cant remember name) was an utter retard. Light played perfectly but lost to a toddler because of his ally...

I hate it when that happens. every time I team up with my cousin in monopoly I always build the largest monopoly than I put him on as cruise control and we lose every thing...
