Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law and The Venture Bros. They're the funniest Adult Swim has to offer, in my opinion.

30 Rock is the champion of the 30 minute comedy. Everything about it is genius, and it's one of the best things on TV right now. There's a reason critics pour over it adoringly - it's one of the most original and fantastic things currently airing, with a stellar cast and incredibly good writing.

If you're not watching this, you're missing out.

- The Office. I know that's "what everyone says" but hey. I find it funny. So whatever.

- The middle seasons of The Simpsons. The early pens are not great. And the newer ones are just celebrity gets voice vehicles. But the middle seasons are amazing.

- it's not on anymore. But Mystery Science Theater 3000 is simply my favorite. I buy the sets whenever possible and its always worthy it. (Its all funny, but around half way through they switch "hosts" to another guy. And while the first guy is funny, I prefer the newer guy. But it's all good).

Black Books has to be one of the funniest shows ever made.

I just bought the complete series of 'Absolutely' (NOT Absolutely Fabulous which I LOATH) from amazon for £12.00 (inc p&p) 4 series, total bargain... and I ABSOLUTELY (see what I did there ) recommend it to anyone... funny, funny, funny show..

I do believe that bro fists are in order. Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmonds are some of the best comedians that I know of.

Nobody's mentioned Seinfeld yet? I'm disappointed...
Most of mine has been mentioned, but if you're looking for non-scripted comedy, I really like mock the week. Especially series 7, it's all on youtube in HD.

There are 3 series the likes of which will probably never be seen again:

1. The Office (U.K version of course, the american version is just horrible)
2. Frisky Dingo
3. Invader Zim

After watching these from beginning to end like 5 times each, every other attempt at comedy seems kinda bland.

The League and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia are pretty awesome if you enjoy cathartic comedy.

This Hour Has 22 minutes and Rick Mercer is awesome. I also enjoyed Men with Brooms and Hiccups, but they aren't exceptional by any means.

Peep Show.

Just watch it.
I second that.

Peep show is hilarious.

OT: Also, it's not a sitcom, but I saw a cartoon on Adult swim lately called Ugly Americans, which is great.
