Good games that never got Sequels

Since it's one of my all time favorite games I would love to see another Brutal Legend.

Legacy of Kain: Defiance! Sure, the game itself wasn't exactly triple A, but that amazing story needs to get a concision, dammit! Don't think a series has ever given me balls as blue as these.

Legend of Dragoon needs a sequel. Chrono-Trigger. (Yeah I'm gonna be that guy) Ninety-nine Knights never got a sequel I don't think.

"Legend of Dragoon got 'Panzer' the shooter spin-off sequel, and Chrono Trigger got Chrono Cross, and Ninety-nine nights got N3: Ninety-Nine Nights II"..

Last time I checked...Legend of dragoon, and panzar dragoon are not related in the slightest and the only connection is the word "dragoon". They are even made by different companies. But kay, the others I agree with, fanboy rant over, you may return to what you are doing =D.

Not really a sequel-ly type of storyline but a brilliant game, perhaps a HD Remake instead?

Dark Sector, what a great game and so much potential for sequels.

Oh and The Saboteur, though this is maybe because Pandemic caved in shortly after its production.

Bioshock 2 sure wasn't genious, but it is a worthy sequel, and a damn good game on it's own, as long as you don't compare the story of both, it's still an amazing game

just, don't compare the stories

but eh, opinions are opinions

The Last guardian is either a sequel or Prequel to both Ico and Shadow of the Colossus and is coming out next year, so thankfully it doesnt go on this list.

OT: I would like a Dark Cloud 3, and a Banjo & Kazooie Nuts and Bolts sequel.

My mistake,

Truth is I own Legend of Dragoon and have never replayed it, I was by a wide margin the most linear RPG I ever played before Final Fantasy 13, and simultaneously the reason the rotors burnt out on my controller.

Still, My GF in middle school was fine with me playing it, so long as she held the controller during the transformations, what fond memories.

I was going to say Kya: Dark lineage, partly because I thought no one else would, mainly because I want to know where they could possibly go with that ending. And we need more games with boomerangs.

But even that was ninja'd

I'd also say Sly 3. There's rumours of a fourth, but confirmation would be nice.
(I'm not counting the cross over game with Jak and Ratchet)
