Animated: Best EVER? uhm...to me its probably a tie between Naruto and Avatar: The last Airbender

Comedy: uuuhhhh...BBT is hilarious...I am also a HUGE fan of that 70s show. Arrested Development is also great fun...I cant choose :<

Drama: Dexter.

Animated: Toradora! OR Clannad (After Story) OR Kimi ni todoke. I really don't know which I think is the better one.

Comedy: If anime is applicable, Seitokai Yakuindomo. What can I say? I really like (non-fanservice) sexual humor. Comedy is a difficult one, because I've never seen a comedy that really sticks out from the crowd (and I've seen more than a few comedies).

Drama: Probably Breaking Bad, or Firefly.

BBC in the UK and BBC America for Americans. You could try Hulu or other legal distribution sites, see if BBC has allowed for distribution online, if you don't have the tv options.

Comedy: Arrested Development for modern, Monty Python's Flying Circus for oldies.

Drama: The Wire

Animated: I don't watch animated TV.

Comedy: Blackadder.

Drama: The Wire. It's just massively above everything else, it almost feels unfair to compare other TV to it because it's just so much better.

Animated: Batman: The Animated Series (Western option), Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (Eastern option).
Comedy: I'm not very big on comedy, but I would either go for Community or early Futurama.
Drama: This one is easy, My So Called Life.
Notable Dramedy: Popular.

I think most people on this forum are too young, too old, or too foreign to remember those last two.

Animated: Family Guy, I think. Or maybe Dragonball Z, I loved watching that as a kid.

Comedy: Frasier, no question. Also my pick for greatest show overall.

Drama: Dexter. Great characters, amazing writing.

Animated: Don't really watch much animated stuff, maybe Futurama.
Comedy: Peep Show, just love it.
Drama: Sherlock, even though there has only been one series, I loved it.
