I'm kind of a closet WoW player.

I love drawing, and that's becoming less of a guilty pleasure and more of a shared medium, though.

And I enjoyed all the Final Fantasies (provided there are incremental differences in my liking of each one, but overall, I enjoyed them).

EDIT: Oh! And I watch Man vs. Wild prolifically. I still get grossed out when he eats random stuff, but I giggle menacingly to myself as he suffers through it.

One word: anime.

It's the sort of secret that nobody who I know irl knows - I find it incredibly embarrassing, but I also think that some of the stuff out there is (in a lot of ways) better than/equal to all other media - I mean, I love A Song Of Ice And Fire, but I like Claymore more...

And I think that's what is so mortifying about it, that I can get really into a series and actually care about the characters, while nobody else I know even understands that anime is more than just pokemon and naruto.

Not that I'm going to sacrifice my social dignity to enlighten them any time soon - hell no.

I enjoy the music on Glee. Music only. I also listen to Paramore, I love them. I could also add Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and several emo bands that I listen to on occasion. Not a lot though. Boy Like Girls is still bad to me.


I also enjoy anime, and I love Pixar and Dreamworks animated films.

These aren't "guilty" pleasures so much as things that I am frequently told off for:

1. High School of the Dead. Hey, come on, I think it was largely satirical, anyway.

2. Mulan. ALWAYS MULAN, I'm inclined to believe that it is the best work this century has seen.

3. Daria. Pretentious? Sure. Awesome? Fuck Yeah.

4. Oh, yeah- TMNT, and I do mean the 2007 movie as well as the 2003 cartoon (Which is a lot worse, now, I hear). I like that it has shifted its focus back to something nearly comparable to the original comic.

Robot Unicorn Attack is by far the most awesomest game in the world.

As for my guilty pleasures, I dance 'like' Micheal Jackson whenever I study (its more like a tick than a pleasure but I still enjoy it), I like to draw girls I know and then ruin the drawing by giving them a unibrow and I find Uwe Bole's (is that how you spell his name?) movies to be some of the best I have ever seen.

I've been getting into hair bands lately. Def Leppard, ohhh god. That, and just generally bad 80s music. Ever hear of this Boys Brigade song called "Melody"? Yeah...

Also, not that it's on anymore, I don't think... I can't say that I wouldn't watch Sailor Moon if I happened to catch it - which is weird, because I hate anime. And Sailor Moon! What the hell, that makes no sense...

And I used to watch the shit out of the Care Bears every morning. While in high school.

OOH! And I was really into Teletubbies through my adolescence, and I owned a talking Laalaa, and all 4 little plastic figurines.

I thoroughly enjoy harem anime like Princess Lover, and Goshusho-sama Ninomiya-kun.

I thoroughly enjoyed Star Wars the Force Unleashed too, and the Fable series, also Halo: ODST was really enjoyable in my eyes.

I enjoyed "Avatar: The Last Airbender" despite only watching it last summer at the urging of my friends. I'm 19 years old.

There isn't really anything I feel guilty about, just a few things that I like that seem to catch people by surprise if they know me.
Music: Adam Ant and AAF
TV: I watched Nip/Tuck it was like a train wreck, I couldn't look away.
Film: Tristan and Isolde... I really despise chick flicks but for some reason I like it. My movie tastes are usually in the horror/thriller/scifi genres.
Games: Plants vs. Zombies is all I can come up with, I even like the music video Misc: I am so bored that I resurrected my WoW account just to finish my achievement for "What along Strange trip it has been". It has been a wonderful reminder as to why I quit that game. And I am happy to see that more and more of my friends have as well.

Why would people be embarrassed/feel guilty about watching porn? I think of it as a given since we are on the Internet and kind of figured that people who don't watch are the minority at this point. Well unless you are watching some questionable genres... NVM...
