Gunman in my school

Several fires (apparently), but there was never any noticeable damage to any of the areas I visited.
A kid hanged himself one time, because of this we studied 'the Pursuit of Happyness' instead of 'Romeo and Juliet' in English class so I guess that was a plus.

Several laptop explosions (everyone in our school was given a piece of shit laptop to use every 3 years)
A league of students clad in Guy Fawkes masks taping year 7s to poles.
A teacher beat the shit out of a student. I'm pretty sure everyone agreed that he deserved it, though.

Someone once broke into the Music Class-room in the middle of the night, breaking a window to get entry....never did figure out WHY someone would break into a music classroom but oh well.

We've had two big school shootings in the past here in Finland. I was still a student when these happened. Pretty soon after the latest one our school received a threat of a similar event as a note. Cops came to interrogate people and all that. I wasn't interrogated or anything, as I think this all happened within the upper comprehensive that's in the same building as my upper secondary used to be.

We had a chemical leak in the science labs once. They had to put everyone on a field and keep us there until it was safe to go in again. Took about half an hour before my friends and I realised we should definately climb over the fence and take the day off. So that's what we did. That was a good day.

Lets see massive fight, like 400 people between my school and one right next to ours the year before I started. We won, being the smaller school too.
Firebomb in a locker scorched one of the shop teachers. Same shop keeper cuts part of his finger off. Next year he has a heart attack and dies. Bad run of luck eh.
Few bomb threats and fire alarms pulled. During winter I was able to grab my coat afew times since my locker was on the way out.
Two kids fighting across the road in the "smoke pit" one pulls a knife and proceeds to get his skull bashed in.
Shooting nearby the school. 3 hour lock down.
Ohh and you know the glass on most of the doors, with the wire mesh inside. Some guy in frustration punches one, glass shatters and the wire and glass cut his thumb down to the bone. Saw him being brought down to the office.

Thats about all at my high school. Some pretty interesting things.

Is "smoke pit" from a movie? All of the smokers in my highschool went across the street to a "smoke pit" too. Not the same school cause there is no other school near it.

Because instruments are worth a lot of money. Although the school could easily just have stores monitor sales of various models of instruments and track the serial numbers so it would be hard for someone in high school to get away with it.

A man who had been injured and put in hospital escaped as he was going to go to jail. He was hiding in the general area of our school so we had police helicopters circling us all day.

my niece once heard an rpg hit a police station
there were a crap ton of bullets lying around the school one day
and around 3 car alarms each week
And the brother of the biggest crime lord in the netherlands lived just around the corner
of the home where i was born
My grandpa once got beaten up by thugs but my niece called the police and the thugs were not armed and grandpa was still fit and had cqc training from his time in the military
and managed to scare them of dont know how he did it
we moved away once i had turned 5

When I was in high school I got put on a hit list by some crazy nazi guy because I dated a girl he liked. Also some girls were caught smoking pot in the bathrooms. That's about it.

Most exciting thing that ever happened at my school was the police doing a raid on it, because some students were apparently using and distributing drugs. (I use the term "raid" loosely here. All they did was make sure no one got in or out while they talked with everyone and had a dog sniff around).

One time police were called to my school to arrest members of a gang who were selling drugs on school property. Shortly afterwards an ambulance was called because one of the police officers was stabbed.

There was no interruption to classes.

My old school had the police called twice because half a dozen gang members were walking around the grounds with knives and bats. Turns out it's part of a gang initiation - they have to cross the school wielding badass weapons over and over until the police are called on them.

I wish I was fucking kidding.

Once somebody broke into my high school at night and tried to torch a few class rooms. Thankfully it wasn't that bad, only some damaged walls, burnt tables etc. It was the aftermath over the next few weeks that was the bad part. Police questioning and all that jazz, we were never told who it was though.

Also a bomb threat where we were forced onto the oval all day, turned out to be nothing though.

No nothing like that ever happen in my high school (located in Wales so there no gun or robbers etc).
The suppose to closest thing I can think of was during my brother time in High School someone sneak into the school use those metal powders from the storage room and set the science room on fire. My brother had gotten weeks off school due to the leathal chemical smoke cause from the burning powder.
In my time there was a fire in the textile room in the early morning but that was accidental (I think something in the room act as a magnify and the sun rise).

Well.... in boarding school high school we had a bit of a problem once.
Most of the home was sitting in the living room playing a LAN COD4 game, and suddenly someone threw a rock into the room.
They ran out with golf clubs and bats, and the guy who was throwing rocks jumped on his bike and sped away. Then we noticed the graffiti on the side of the house.
We got the window repaired, and the graffiti removed. Except that they removed the graffiti with high pressured water, and made sure to only peel of the graffiti. So the graffiti is still there, just in bleached form.

........ other than that...... many pranks gone wrong, many people getting busted for drugs, alcohol, and tobacco. Fun times ( I never payed for booze when i was there).

Someone set one of the toilets on fire once (btw, we don't really do the communal bathrooms thing in schools the way Americans seem to). It was dealt with quickly and our day went on as usual. That's pretty much it.

A rival school tried to set it on fire, they also appeared outside one day en masse which prompted the riot police to be put on standby, one stabbing, several serious thefts, many drug dealing incidents, a motorbike drove through the grounds, and once during the contruction of a new part of it, it almost...blew up.

There was this one time where my entire school was evacuated twice in the same day.
The first time was for a gas leak and the other was a bomb threat.
It was great.
