I love how a lot of guys on here are planning on going to Japan. Me, I'm gonna stay here till the girls migrate here.

The fact that this problem exists is bad enough, but it hardly needs to be hyped this way. "Half of women" and "52% of women" sound a lot better than "159 women."

And that's what we're dealing with here, 159 women who are of this opinion and 141 who are not.

Where to start? These games are made by men, for men for the most part. How does this make it womens fault? Yes many Japanese women are gorgeous, as are many women from all over the world, It's not unique to Japan.

Now why lower your standards? My standards are high and I've never struggled. If a woman is fantastic but I don't find her attractive then thats what friends are for. For a partner I want the whole package and I'm more than happy with my current partner.

Also all you people who think the cure is to fly over and whoo yourself a hot asian girl. Keep on dreaming. If you have a hard time getting a girlfriend here you're still going to have a hard time getting a girl anywhere else. Your personality, employment status and looks factor into the decision on if a girls going to date you or not. A girl doesn't go "damn, all the Japanese boys have computer girlfriends I guess I'll go date that clammy looking white guy who I don't understand at all and who's only here to pick up on desperate chicks". Btw easier and cheaper way to find desperate girls it's called a bar at around 1:30 in the morning. Don't kid yourself saying you're going to pick up girls with damaged self esteem makes you the same kinda asshole you all hated in highschool. You know the jerk who had the hot girlfriend and always talked down to her. Taking advantage of a girl with damaged self esteem is an asshole move no mater who you are or what the reason.

In the end can we all grow up and see this is a sad issue not just in Japan but all around. So remember this article next time you wanna give a girl grief about not being perfect.

I have never been to Japan but as a teenager I was scared to death of girls. I moved to America at 17 and everything changed. With a British accent I didn't even have to try. At one point I was studying and doing a placement in a TX hospital and one of the nurses said "I have a daughter you age, want to meet her?". I'd go to the store to get milk and bread and end up in a 20 minute conversation with the girl on the checkout. It was too easy. This did wonders for my confidence. When I got back from America a few years later the boost in confidence meant I did just fine, even without my accent advantage.

You don't need to move to Japan to get a date. Just go outside, socialise and talk to women. It's that easy. It's obvious your DS can't win against a real woman, when has your DS last made you a sandwich, gave you a hug, got you a surprise gift... I could go on.

Uber i totally agree. Their are messed up people every and the people here tonight want to sit high and mighty and judge while misreading the question. It's not like the US has its sects of really out there people like polygamist marring off 14 year old girls.

In the UK we call them "sex offenders" and send them to prison.

Of course virtual females are better than real ones. Real women are completely annoying. We're never satisfied with anything, we're ill-tempered, we don't know what we want, we're completely intolerable company 6 days a month and not much better the rest of the time. We're manipulative, destructive of relationships, and always have some feud with other women. We're raised to value our emotions, and thus develop no impulse control. We think that "creative" means whatever driveling mediocre arts and crafts we produce. We nag relentlessly to get our own way. Our self esteem is so bad we know there is something very wrong about any man who is attracted to us. We are vain, shallow, and normally braindead. I loathe women and I am one. I refuse to judge any man who puts women into the "too hard" basket and opts for a virtual girl.

And yet, we are so much better than men.
