Halo 3, PS2 Ads Make "25 Most Epic Ads" List

I'm not the biggest Halo fan around, but there's no denying how awesome that advertisement is.

Any "most epic adverts" list without Honda's "the cog" advert can't really be trusted in my opinion...

Therefore, I do not trust that list.

Prejudice against other people's opinions aside, some of those ads were indeed pretty epic, and its good to see the efforts of the video game industry being recognised too.

Was that the Gears of War Mad World Commercial? That was also really Epic. (lol at the pun)

I'd imagine it was MS that did the advertising. Halo's their flagship game and they're the ones with the money and the huge marketing department.

Maybe Bungie did play a part though, i wouldn't know

Sorry, but some of it is CGI.

0:25 - 0:30 Tires don't roll up hill.
0:55 - 0:60 It wouldn't make that many revolutions before it came to a stop.

Doesn't change the fact that its totally bamf.

Say what you want about Halo they know how to make commercials. Also I'm surprised the ODST one wasn't there. I consider that highly epic.

With that final believe ad, I think it safe to say that story telling set in the Halo universe works best when somebody else besides the people at Bungie are writing it (I.E. the people that worked on Homecoming and the Duel, as well as the advertising department that did that ad).

Also, Halo has some amazing commercials, Believe, ODST, and now Making of a Spartan (which was directed by an Oscar winner). Good Stuff.
