I never enjoyed that one, because of what it stood for and especially what it stands for now, its using a marketing tool to appeal to the rebellious riotous groups of the 60's and 70's and saying, "hey we are just like you, so buy our product if your an anarchist"... sure it was genius at the time but I'm too much of a cynic for that. Doubly so for today.John Funk said:If you asked someone familiar with advertising what the most epic commercial of all time was, there's a good chance that their answer would be Ridley Scott's famous Apple "1984" Super Bowl spot
When Sony do good advertising they do it really wellIt's a great list and highly worth your time, even if only two videogame-related ads pop up on it.
Here is Sony's For years I have lived a double life [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yQh4iRMi5nE] Playstation advert, while not hugely great in of itself the kid at 40 seconds that states "and I have conquered worlds" was so well recieved that in the UK and in France you would go into a Blockbuster or privately owned game shop and be greated with his bio that stated
"Name - Ross Northcote
Age - 11
Occupation - School and Conquerer of Worlds"
We also had this which was the first of the pretentious of Sony ads that probably helped along with a decade's worth of crap

everyone was talking about it whether or not her face was actually like that in real life, everyone including people that don't play games went apeshit for it, it was amazing.
I watch that awesome video whenever I think about it, its the advertisement version of Deus Ex, and with Chopin, my word that was just showing off.Featuring an absolutely incredible diorama (sweet baby Jesus, that diorama was amazing)
