These video games are trying to kill our children now! We must ban them before Satan contaminates us all into sinners.

I may be a bad person since I first wondered what game he was playing that had him so entranced. It could be a good one!

Oh, and the kid almost dying is bad too. Oh, yes, for shame. Forsooth. *ahem*.

Sometimes we should let natural selection run it's course.
Why is Social Darwinism so endemic to gaming forums? I find it slightly ironic, considering..you know. Nerds.

Had the train run him over I would have given him a Darwin award.
"Too stupid to watch his step at a train station"
I mean come on. Common sense. Not looking where your going when in a dangerous area is a really stupid idea. Why didn't he wait at the plateform and wait to hear his train come in, Pause the game, then get on the train and then play.

Looks like he fell pretty hard. I guess that's what happens when you're not paying attention! Like people texting and driving... then BAM!

Anyway glad he wasn't killed. I hope he learns something.

well seems i'm not alone with my opinion here
that has nothing to do with being a naive kid or a fascinating game...that's just plain idiocy

too bad he probably didn't learn his lesson

And cue the ignorant media getting hold of this and turning it into another 'anti-gaming' news story.

Are you fucking serious!?

You're wonder whether or not to be dismayed that a child was saved from death or severe injury. If you are serious I have no respect for you and I think you should give yourself a shake.

OP: I'm glad the kid was saved, would have been a terrible way to die. I just want to know where the fuck his parents were.

Jesus Christ! Is the PSP okay!?

Seriously though, I hope he's not hurt too badly.

Edit:

The PSP is probably broken. Those things are incredibly fragile.
They are not!! My PSP-1003 is like a brick. I've dropped that thing a ridiculous amount of times, and the only reason its out of action right now is because a button broke, which can be easily replaced. A button!
I have a friend who put his psp in his pocket ( a rather large pocket at that) walked to a store, walked back and took out the psp and the screen was broken. I think that qualifies as mostly fragile.
I have a theory that the build quality deteriorated over time. All 1000-series PSP's I've seen are battle-scarred, barely recognisable wrecks, which still play like new. I've had mine since launch, and it has survived being dropped onto concrete and stone at least 10 times.

Why was a ten year old walking the train station by himself? Shouldn't someone have been watching over him? Or is this commonplace?
