Beating CoD2, CoD3, CoD4, MW2, CoD WaW, and Black Ops all on veteran is a serious accomplishment in my books. Also Star Wars: The Force Unleashed on Sith Master, LFD all campaigns on expert, and 007: Quantum of Solace on 007 difficulty as well. Now if I could only beat Prototype on hard...

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

Mile High Club.

On Veteran.

In less than a minute!

It took me something along the lines of two hours to finish it. That might not be long at first, but remember that I retried a level that only takes a literal minute to beat 120 times before finally getting the achievement.

I also tried Black Ops on Veteran. EEEEKKKK!!!! Treyarch is the devil when it comes to difficulties. I never did beat it, though.
This this THIS. Only difference I did beat BlackOps on Veteran :p

Probably camping at the top of my team's base teleporter in CTF-Citadel and getting a 'Head Hunter'. Never been able to get it since. Then again it's hard getting 15 headshots in a game.

Beating Halo Reach on Legendary alone... Just constantly picking it up and trying again and again until I managed to pull it off :)

It's not much, but I managed to be the Touhou game "Imperishable Night" without using a continue on easy mode... T_T

It impressed all of my friends, but I can't do it on normal and I think that Imperishable Night is the easiest in the series.
I'm curious: what exactly makes you say that? I've heard the same thing said before, and I can't fathom why. I've completed the previous two games (Embodiment of Scarlet Devil & Perfect Cherry Blossom) on normal without continuing and still haven't done the same with IN- the difficulty in general just seems like a deliberate step up overall. In particular, neither of the former games' stage 3 bosses hold a candle to Keine, and while stage 4 traditionally comes with something of a difficulty spike, absolutely nothing could have prepared me for Reimu.

OT: the aforementioned runs of Touhou 6 & 7. If I had to choose one, I guess I'd say 7- I'm still not sure whether or not it was a fluke.
Really? I thought Keine was easier than both Meiling and Alice. Reimu was freaking hard, but her counterpart boss, when you're playing as Reimu/Yukari or Youmu/Yuyuko was much easier. The reason I think it's easier is because the whole team aspect allows for greater versatility. Let's take the border team as an example: Reimu's great for taking out groups because of her Homing Amulets, but Yukari's shots are beastly on individual targets. Likewise, Reimu fares terribly by comparison against single targets do to the weakness of her shots and Yukari's shots can only focus on one enemy at a time. Another reason is that the "final spell" mechanic is far easier to pull off in IN than in other games and it actually shows you the timing window for it.

Completing the first world on Super Meat Boy without dying... man that took many, many tries. I've still not done the cotton factory.

I'd have to say Batman: Arkham City Game+ on Hard, it took me ages to finish normal game+. You just don't reaise how much you come to rely on the counter flash.

I finished NUTS.WAD.
WITHOUT CHEATS. If you know what that is, then you understand what I must have done. If you don't, this is what NUTS.WAD is:
(the guy in the video has God mode on. I did not.)

Am I really the first to say this? I feel so special: (hard difficulty, of course)

Fuck you. Fuck your 7-foot long katana. Fuck your Meteor spell. Fuck your insta-kill Sin Harvest Angel move. Fuck your teleporting. And fuck your teleporting directly behind me to give me a 7-foot colon cleaning.

Also, fuck the boss rush mode in Super Smash Bros Brawl. That was hard as hell, too.
At least you had that awesome song to listen to during that :D

No seriously, I was at my friends house and he was trying to beat it, thinking myself fairly good I said "pfft I can beat that", oh how wrong I was (we managed to get super lucky eventually)

Well, the hardest game I ever played would be Ninja Gaiden 2 on the hardest difficulty and the name escapes me. Was it Ninja or Shinobi?

There was this one boss. This one fucking boss. It was this skeleton ogre thing about halfway through the game, I believe. He had this attack that was TOTALLY UNAVOIDABLE where he'd pick up Ryu, CHOMP HIS FUCKING HEAD, then throw him across the arena AT A WALL, effectively taking out at least 3/4ths of my health.

This boss was literally just dumb luck to beat, because I had to keep reloading until finally, during one battle, he didn't use that unavoidable attack until he was nearly dead. It was total bullshit and as soon as I finished the game I said "DONE" and sold it. Not even the Archdemon in either of his forms was as hard as that skeleton asshole.

Beat Uncharted 2 on Crushing difficulty.

The game was just unfair. You couldn't hold much ammo, any 'action' moment (no stealth) always took at the very least five tries, those FUCKING bullet sponge shotgunners, and all the explosions.
Oh ho ho. Don't remind me of what I had to go through back when I played this and its prequel. Crushing mode was a nightmare. But at the end, it was all worth it.

My fellow explorers and I held Damaris from an Ork Waaaaaaaaagh. Over 300,000 people died in orbit alone, the fleet collapse with Rok after Rok struck the planet but we did not fall. The Imperial Navy abandonned the world and the planetary defence station was overrun but we did no fall. The planet was overrun as the last bastion of human glory and the bravest of souls in the sector held the walls and we did not fall. The Warboss and his might Kroozer the Death'ammer rammed our vessel as hordes of greenskins overran our lower decks but we did not fall. The Warboss stormed our bridge and the Captain was struck down but we did not fall. The Arch-militant dumped an entire clip of high yield Bolt ammunition into the Warboss's cranium and he fell. His orks were driven back, his fleet destroyed, his Roks detonated. We held the line on Damaris for 3 weeks, 3 long dark weeks but the world is still there.

I killed the Legendary Deathclaw at level 10 in Fallout: New Vegas with everything I had except melee weapons, 'cause that's suicide. I found it on accident, and picked off all of the other deathclaws, but I got the big one on accident, and I built an addiction to Turbo, but by jove, that fucker went down.

A close second would be going through the God of War series on the hardest difficulties. If I gave myself over to impulse, my controller would be a part of the base-work of my house.

Just been playing through devil may cry 4 after finding it cheap online and its reminding me of the time that I spent 4 months of after school gaming time playing through Dante Must Die on devil may cry 3.

What are your hardest moments or achievments in gaming that you are proud of?

Also, as a pre-emptive message to anyone that mentions Ninja Gaiden.....I hate you, despite how much I have tried, I still cannot complete either of them on the hardest difficulty.....
Completing N (http://www.metanetsoftware.com/). Very satisfying and pointless.

Also, completing Halo on Legendary took some patience.
N. That is just platforming hell.
