I get a lot of comments on the avatar, but rarely on the username. However, I've had people call me Potatoes IRL, so idk.
Not on here (yet), but from time to time on other forums etc. I've had this name for quite a while, and tend to use it (with the underscore) whenever I can - so there's the occasional overlap between communities.
No. Because my username is terrible and could never be mistake for some kind of name I would want to be called.

I've been commented on due to my username, but mostly because it has penguin in it. [small](I don't think they realize that I am actually a penguin.

People don't really have anything to say about my username. I have gotten screamed at on youtbe a lot though from my former trolling days.
I during a match of halo got talked down to by a pair of guys because my name was "Stupid and completely unoriginal." They then pushed the wire spool In front of the opening and sealed my fate as death by zombies. The name in question is this one.
On here, no I have not. It's a slight joke within my friend circle, for I am regarded as the crazy one who possibly may have two personalities, who fight with each other.

A few times, but mostly as a result of people not understanding whatever I was referencing with the name.
Once when I had an orc shaman named VanHelscream. Everyone thought that VanHellscream was already taken and I had some people say they were reporting it because you're not allowed to name characters after important NPCs in-game. I think the person they reported it to -if they even bothered- either didn't care, didn't agree, or actually realized the reference was to Dracula.
Another time was my main Neurey, a druid. One guy actually /w me telling me my name was some stupid play on neurotic. My character was a cow that transformed into animals. /facepalm
A strange number of people don't get the name I use while playing SSB: YHWH
Other than that it's only problems with pronunciation.
