Howdy stranger, and welcome to this lovely little corner of the Internet we call The Escapist! And if you don't know what everyone means by "The Basement," it's okay. I still haven't quite figured it out myself yet.

The basement is where the trolls and the banned are thrown. The stairs were broken long ago to prevent them from getting out. at the end of the wrecked stairs is the door to the Religion & Politics forum. Most people don't WANT to go there anyway.

Underneath the stairs? THAT is where we keep The Scary Thread. Bring a protective suit if you really want to find it.

Hey wait, I've been to the Scary Thread, I've even posted in it. How the hell did I go through The Basement to get there?
