Yes, it is commen knowledge. So I don't need a movie to tell me that. And I was more refering to the black and white idea of, the military being incapable of anything good because they're Americans who have guns, and the natives being incapable of anything evil because they live intouch with nature.Noelveiga said:Seriously, Avatar is to ultraliberalism what Woody Allen is to professional bodybuilders. All that movie says is maybe it's not cool to go and commit genocide for the sake of money. Here we call that common knowledge.
I never said that. You may think shooting Uncharted's cutscenes would be enough to make a good movie, but that's not true. A good director or a good screenwriter knows there's a lot to adapt, specially when the source material can be transposed directly.
I trembled at the thought of Disney or Bay, I actually could picture it!TheDoctor455 said:I knew this would happen eventually...
So Hollywood, here's some advice:
DO NOT GIVE THIS TO MICHAEL BAY OR DISNEY!!!!
THEY WILL COMPLETELY FUCK IT UP!!!!!
And if possible, come up with your own story rather than simply rehashing the game's story. Which while it was good (and will most likely continue to be good), it wouldn't really work in a non-interactive medium.
