"Holy $@&%, did I just do that?"

So, today at work we were watching UFC Fight Night 119. It made me think of the time I rented UFC Undisputed 2009. I thought, "Fight Night Round 3 entertained me. Might as well give it a try." So I rented it, and I liked it(I was young then, and easily entertained).

Now, on to why I'm saying all this. My stepbrother came over, and we started to play. Sometimes he won, sometimes I won. There was no real method to the madness. But, there was one fight in particular that stood out. I don't remember who we picked. All I remember is how the fight turned out. He went for a kick. I blocked the kick, and went for a right hook. I knocked him out. Remember when Mickey KO'd Gorgeous George in Snatch? Yea, it was something like that. The fight, if I recall correctly, lasted about 6 seconds.

So, have you guys ever had a moment where you pulled something amazing off without even trying? Without even realizing it? Moments that made you go, "Holy $@&%, did I just do that?"

Mine is kind of the same as yours but i'll say it anyway. I was playing UFC Undisputed '09 against my cousin. He had been bragging about being able to beat me at it for about 2 hours previous to the fight. I picked Forrest Griffin and he pick "Rampage" Jackson. The match started, I Ran up to him and gave him a right hook and knocked him out. took me about 2 in game seconds to beat him. He has never challenged me to a game since then.

A haalo 3 party. I was quiet, and everyone thought I was a noob, an easy target. Set the stick sensitivity to max and set about collecting plasma grenades and any of the dual weapons. First half of the game: took everybody out without a scratch, was halfway to winning. Second half: they wised up to me. I started doing suicide bombings in narrow corridors. This worked because suicide penalty was off. My deaths at the end of the game? 3. My score? 50. And these gguys were good, at least according to a friend. I've never been good at the game, but I must've REALLY been in the zone. Or their reputation was undeserved.

I've got a holy shit moment that was more pure stupidity, rather then awesome. I was playing Supreme Commander with a friend, we were going after three Hard AIs, so we were basically turtling. I had finished building a nuke silo (no nukes inside it yet though) and I clicked on it to start building some. Unfortunately I accidently right clicked a random part of my base while I still had it selected. Now, in Supreme Commander, you can cue up nukes to fire after they've been built. That's right. As soon as my first nuke was finished, it went up, and came right back down into my base. If you've never played Supreme Commander, a nuke can destroy about a square kilometer of in-game map. Probably the worse move I've ever made in an RTS. My friend was laughing about it for hours though.

Halo 3. Got 25 kills in a scorpian tank just pegging them off on Avalanche no-one fired at me. They just drove past and got nailed by my canon shells. I had a guy in the turret just calling them out and I fired.

I didn't do it, but i watched as it happened. I was over at a friends house, and his brother kept saying how much of a badass he was at the game Street Fighter 2 for the SNES. So my friend decides to pull out the game, and trounces his brother for 2 games. His brother then goes on to whine about how he's out of practice, so my friend challenges him to one last game.

My friend then beats his brother while playing one handed, with his back to the screen, with a perfect in the final round. It was amazingly hilarious. I don't think his brother has touched a fighting game since.

Any game that plays like that is terrible. Wheres the fun in a random ass lucky punch.
Mind you, this was after we had played a good 10-15 matches. We played another 5-6 after, and I was never able to pull it off again.

Playing Halo 3 with my friends a while back and there was 7 of us nobody could find a good system to balance out the two teams so I decided to go on my own team and act like a neutral party. So the first round I spent driving around on a Mongoose doing random stuff driving people around or just jumping off of things. In the second round one of the teams decided to kill me which lit a fire of burning rage and fury inside of me especially when they killed Sascha (the Mongoose I was using) So from that point onwards in the match I got every single kill using guerrilla tactics against both teams. The awesome part was one of the teams were on 49 out of 50 points and I still beat them.

Playing Call Of Duty 4 the other day I managed to kill the entire enemy team with a single random shot from a grenade launcher.

Back when I used to play Trackmania I was losing a race so to try and take over everyone else I tried to take a corner as sharp as I could instead I ended up hitting the half pipe part of it and flipped up into the air landing on the other half of it on the other side of the track and overtook everyone else on the track.

Madden who knows what year--it was a very long while back, back in the day of splitscreen multiplayer. I have never watched footy in my life, and the only thing I know about it is that I would die if I try it in real life. My entire game was all about pressing "Ask Madden" for my strategy, and then mash buttons until my friend decides it's the right time to tackle me.
Then there comes the greatest counter attack in my life. I was on the 50 yards line, it was first down. For once I actually did not ask Madden..big mistake.
As the ball was passed to my quarterback, I was hoping to have him just run with the damn ball just for kicks..but he didn't. He inched forward, poised to throw..but I couldn't throw anymore (is there a rule that you can't throw once you're past a certain time/distance? I don't know.) I can't pass, and my character refuses to run.
Minutes passed by as I inched forward. My valiant linebackers somehow kept theirs all in check. All the..whoever should be blocking my runners were all wayyyy deep, doing what they should be doing. But my quarterback still inched forward.
..step..by step..
Until he actually went into the end zone himself.

50 frikkin yards at snail pace. I think the game just bugged out at that point so no one could even come close to him or something.
At any rate, it was my most epic play ever.

Another precious memory was the artillery squad in BF2.
I played support, and I took 4 other anti-tank guys in my group. We ran over to about half a K from the enemy's base..then proceeded to bombard them with rockets and my machinegun fire--I can keep them full at any given time. Nobody could touch us--the tanks were too easy of a target (and most people die from explosions trying to get to it anyway), and snipers couldn't poke their heads out long enough to fire (it was pretty damn hard to snipe things in that game). And on the off chance that we get hit--people can easily spawn off of me again.
We reduced their entire base to smithereens. Once all tanks (and planes, and helicopters, and most of their soldiers) were gone, it was easy victory for our tanks.

3 headshots from one sniper bullet in TF2. One was a cloaked sniper stood in between the camping Heavy and his little Medic buddy. One bullet, three heads, one "Grey Matter" achievement. Pretty much shat my pants.

Just today I was playing Counter-Strike Source in a nearly 100% vanilla server on Compound. I was a T and there were very few CT's left and quite a few camping T's left. I jumped over the mid wall and walked into CT spawn, checking my right, then my left; as I checked my left a CT sprang out from the right behind a box and fired a couple rounds, missing me. I 180'd and got a headshot on him before he could fire his third round.

Just today I was playing Counter-Strike Source in a nearly 100% vanilla server on Aztec. With my Scout, I jumped from CT side of water to the T side of water, saw a guy 10 feet in front of me, shot, and got a headshot on him. He was my team mate, and he died. Fuck. Next round, I am at B watching double doors, double zoomed with Scout. I fire a random shot through the wall and SAME FUCKER walks right in my view at I shoot, and I get another headshot on the same team mate. He didn't trust me from then on out.

There was this time in BC1 when I was playing as the specialist, and I successfully killed the entire enemy team and detonated both gold crates by using stealth.

I pulled off the "Two Kills, One Bullet," "All Pro," and "Game Winning Kill," with one shot for the Intervention in Modern Warfare 2. All Pro means headshot two enemies with one bullet. I was pretty impressed with myself, seeing as I never thought I'd get that one.

First time I eve laughed out loud playing a game by myself.

I'm playing a wrestling game with a mate. It's 2 vs 2, us on AI. His best attack is a leg sweep, mine is a clothesline.
We're standing either side of one AI fighter when we both do those moves almost simultaneously. The AI is knocked off his feet by the sweep and my clothesline catches him right on the jaw, KO-ing and flipping him clean out of the ring. (And when I say clean I mean he started near the centre and ended up outside without even touching the ropes)

Accidental combo FTW.

In SSBM, I was playing Link and my friend Falco on final destination. He was going to dive bomb me with his up special when I tried to up special him first. I thought I had lost when Link decided that no, he wasn't actually going to jump. He stood there spinning and I thought I was a goner (I had high damage) but then, on the last turn of the last spin, something amazing happened. Falco's charge was timed perfectly into the blade on its last revolution, sending him screaming in a diagonal line to the bottom left corner of the screen, instant KO. He had only 30% or so damage.

We were both in shock. That was my Holy @#*$! moment, or at least the only one I can recall at the moment.
