I usually mildly rage if I get backstabbed on TF2, but that's mostly because I personally suck at being a Spy and find it infuriating that I can't even get 1 achievement as a Spy.

CoD is the only game that can really sour my mood, needless to say I dont play it anymore. I can get frustrated during the "learning curve" of most multi games, but once I grasp whats killing me or how to kill them it becomes more relaxing. Even when I do get frustrated its more a groan or grunt rather then full on verbal diarrhoea.

I also rage when I'm randomly disconnected from long RTS matches (ranked or ladder matches in particular). I get vexed cause it's entirely out of my control and I feel like some unknown entity is getting some form of satisfaction out of my anguish. Grinds my gears.

i don't really tbh. Could just be a side effect from playing cod enough to know that you will die no matter what happens so why let it bother you

I have been known to ragequit, scream at idiots on my team, and throw controllers. The thing is, I rarely lose because I'm doing poorly, 90% of my losses come in TDM because my teammates are absolute morons.

Fucking. This.

BFBC2.
Rush.
Absolute MORONS who jump in helos and then go and waste them by either leaping out of them to get to some sniper happy ledge up high and then having them explode, killing me and everyone else in there and wasting 5 tickets, or leaping out and leaving the chopper for the defending team to capture and use for themselves.

DON'T BE THE FUCKING PILOT IF ALL YOU WANT TO DO IS LEAP OUT AND GO HIDE LIKE A ***** ON A LEDGE AND CONTRIBUTE NOTHING TO THE TEAM FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-

Try and strive for a 1 to 1 kill ratio...

That's all ya need. Anything more is how more awesome your getting at the game.

Now if ya can't manage the 1 to 1, try a different tactic, weapon lay out or team.

If you can't have fun with it, don't get online. Online is full of people who basicly troll, grief so bad you think that's all a game is.

There is no honor, no made up rules, and a Noob tube is just as acceptable as the worst gun. Anyone who says or complains different is just trying to force their version of fun on you and denies you access to their weakness.

Typically I don't get angry but when it's bullshit like I pump 4 shotgun rounds into the back of someones head (hitmarker, blood) and then they turn around and 1 shot me with a sniper rifle I get pretty pissed.

Very. I shout a lot, particularly when I do badly or when I get screwed over by balance issues or random bullshit.

Random crits, Second Chance and everything in MW2 hit the spot quite often.

Black Ops is the only FPS that has gotten me angry to the point that i'm breaking furniture. I'm moderately good at FPS multiplayer but that game is just horrible and for some odd reason I force myself to play it.

With every other FPS I've played though, I don't get angry at losses because they feel more earned, not forced. And I usually put up a good fight so I can take solace in that.

I can get annoyed if I die repeatedly, but if I'm on a really crappy KD and just not enjoying the game I'll exit. If that happens too many times in one sitting I'll play something else entirely. most of my friends are more whiners than proper raging though. Every time they die they sit there and moan about the imbalance in the game.

Counterstrike always made me scream like an animal. Ask my friends, if they can still hear you.

Depends on the game. In games like TF2, L4D, CoD 1/2/2.5 I actually could careless when I die, because the games are so ridiculously fun.

In MW I would rage cause the deaths seemed so cheap and random. I actually ultimately decided not to pick up any more CODs, because of how frenetic and utterly random the multiplayer felt (and don't get me started with the cheap Kill Streaks).

So yeah, it really depends on the game.

Well I do get incredibly annoyed at MW2 but only when people use overpowered guns eg UMP 45 and when people are being cheap e.g. one man army + noob tube. I generally only play FPS' online with friends now so I get annoyed less, I used to rage quit from MW2 all the time, now not so much. Oh btw its very fun to get a group of 4 and play team tac all using riot shields and all go in one direction together and stop after a few deaths. Peoples reactions vary from abuse messages to joining in and trying it themselves.
Reach annoys me with armour lock and people who spawn camp in grifball but Reach doesnt make me rage too much, except in SWAT.

BFBC2 annoys me so much, mostly because people snipe me basically as soon as I spawn and then the fact that the camera stares at them for a while makes me rage because I cant spawn, this is not helped by the fact I cannot snipe in that game at all. Also people who fly away in helicopters with only one person in it, I mean come on what a waste.

Never played TF2 although I must admit it sounds interesting and a friend is getting it soon, so I may have to go to his house and see it properly for myself.

I just get irritated when newbs in bullet storm dont even try to get team skill shots. Its one thing if people try and just screw it up. But when a team challenge says, "Bullet Slide", and I see the same idiot kicking him every round, yeah it gets annoying.

Nothing to rage over, but I will leave groups if they continually fail at the same level. (Just thought id point out im in the top 1% of the PC leader boards in bullet storm).

As far as halo goes, some times the antics in reach with the crappy map design get annoying, but nothing as far as players are concerned, na, no rage from me there.

I suck at shooters, but I only ever get pissed off when I'm dying in a really cheap way. For example, when I'm being spawn-camped or being sniped by some guy 500 miles away every time I leave cover. Or if I suspect someone of cheating.

Usually in cases like that if the offender doesn't stop I'll just leave. But if I have something similar happen in more than 1 successive game I'll usually start to get peeved.

If I'm playing a good game where both sides are about about as good as the other then I don't get angry even if I die, but if the other side is steamrolling us or if the person who keeps killing me is lagging like hell or using some purely luck based tactic (blindly throwing grenades over buildings etc.) then I can get pretty mad. During those bad games I often just quit before I drive myself to the point of shouting out loud.

When I do start getting my butt kicked I tend to start creating long chains of curses but I don't do it every game. Its just those kills that really make no sense in how they happened. I have a habit of watching a game to figure out how I get killed though so that makes things a little bit better.
