That's only according to you, however. And you've only commented about how Halo "needs to leave anime alone" in its most recent threads, regardless of subject matter. If it makes you feel any better, it can't be called anime if it's made outside of Japan.
WRONG anime is an art style get it right

And anyone who'd try an Halo anime wants trouble
It just doesn't work
Since you've clearly come from the future to tell us how Halo Legends turns out, what ended up as 2009's GotY?

You don't need to have a time machine to know it'll end up being Modern Warfare 2, with ODST and Assassin's Creed 2 in hot pursuit.

/Cataclysm for 2010!

Interesting. Doesn't implies you have knowledge of this. Considering this is (to my own knowledge) the first Halo anime to be created, I wonder how you would know beyond a shadow of a doubt (for your words do not seem to leave any) that a Halo anime=automatic fail.

I thought Root_of_all_evil was the only Time Lord on the Escapist?
I know because there is nothing to base it off unless you want a Mecha Halo...
Or a romance halo...
Halos only strong point would be its action
Which is much more effective in games + It has been done to excellent standards many times before

as someone who got to the Anime not anime if outside japan mistake before me should know

We don't need a repeat standard anime for a standard anime is fail

* Main Entry: an·i·me
* Pronunciation: \ˈa-nə-ˌmā, ˈä-nē-\
* Function: noun
* Etymology: Japanese, animation, short for animēshiyon, from English
* Date: 1988

: a style of animation originating in Japan that is characterized by stark colorful graphics depicting vibrant characters in action-filled plots often with fantastic or futuristic themes

Now...what does this have to do with ODST?

I think it's according to the Japanese it is not really an anime. A bit like how any 'Champagne' made outside France cannot be called Champagne even if it's identical. It's almost like a patent. I could be wrong.
Don't suppose you have a source for that? This is the first I've heard of it so I'm naturally intrigued.
I can't source the Japanese thing, because I have no idea where I heard it. I am merely assuming that it is similar to the Champagne thing. I can source that though.

There are many sparkling wines produced worldwide, yet most legal structures reserve the term "champagne" exclusively for sparkling wines from the Champagne region, made in accordance with Comite Interprofessionel du Vin de Champagne regulations.
Source = Wikipedia

I did however find this on the Wiki page for Anime:

In Japan, the term anime does not specify an animation's nation of origin or style; instead, it serves as a blanket term to refer to all forms of animation from around the world. In English, dictionary sources define anime as "a Japanese style of motion-picture animation" or "a style of animation developed in Japan". Non-Japanese works that borrow stylization from anime are commonly referred to as "anime-influenced animation" but it is not unusual for a viewer who does not know the country of origin of such material to refer to it as simply "anime". Some works are co-productions with non-Japanese companies, such as most of the traditionally animated Rankin/Bass works, the Cartoon Network and Production I.G series IGPX or Ōban Star-Racers; different viewers may or may not consider these anime.

Because an anime about people in power armor couldn't possibly work...

Don't say it's bad before it even came out. Bones is working on some of the episodes and they made Eureka 7.

That said, it will most likely pale in comparison to good anime series...

Now that's just no- Wait, wait. I see what you're doing there. I've keyed onto your game Slycne. You've been rumbled.

Well for starters we've had - what, a single trailer for Halo Legends so far? I think they mentioned that there was going to be a bit more stuff on it at the Tokyo Expo this year, but my memory might be failing. We have no idea if we're going to have Mecha Halo (doubt it), Romance Halo (ditto), Action Halo (Likely, at least in part) or School Comedy Halo (this is the one I believe is most likely from what we know so far!)

Basically: Judging an anime from a single trailer is the sort of thing I expect from rabid fanboys/haters/Fools and Horses. Do you want to be a horse?

It's cool the Firefly guys are in there. That's nice. All I care is going back to the Halo 1 mold of old. I particularly agree with Staten about the Chief being ridiculously God-Like as the series progressed. That's part of what made Halo 3's campaign feel like it was phoning it in. Either way, I'm excited for this game, and it'll be a blast.

Halo dropped the regenerating health????

Bungie just gained a little more respect from me. Bravo.

Also the new concepts look great.

They better make it harder. As in, you're required to use strategy.

Also, I'm going to gripe about the coloration and models of the covenant weapons.

HEY GUYS. LETS STOP TALKING ABOUT THE HALO ANIME AND GET BACK TO ODST, KTHX.

On topic, the game looks really cool. I'm looking forward to it.

Am I missing something here? Because I really don't see how they are doing anything different. I mean yeah you need to be a bit more sneaky cause you can die more easily, however, I have a sneaking suspicion that this game is really not going to be very good, however, I have been wrong before...

Heh. I watched this on game-trailers a couple of hours ago. It was quite good.

It won't be enough to stop all the whiners and naysayers though.
Whine! Nay! etc.

I'd get it if I had a 360, the film noir and stealth is what caught my attention.

I believe 60 bucks is worth it now.

It seems like they're trying to make it like Halo Combat Evolved: Awesome.

I am SO buying this.

huh. i dont really like when you hear dialogue from first person, I more like silent nameless protaganists who's faces you never see. Lets me imagine my own character more... Also i hope you actually have time playing as the rookie, and i hope his story develops rather than something concrete like GO HERE PLAY GUY WHO IS COOL, HE IS TRUST US.
