i like to strike when they least accept it, preferable when i'm close by, they are looking right at me but have no idea i'm there.
So you're an Elite with Active Cameo? ;)

Different for every situation. If there's not too many enemies around, I'll go in guns blazing. If there is, then I'll either try to pick them off from a distance, or kill the target quickly and escape.

Again, though, it really just depends on the situation/game.

My favourite was in GTA4, when the target was in a subway. I shoved him infront of a train pulling into the station. The comic timing was perfect.

Sneaking up behind them, pulling my rocket launcher out, and aiming for the head. I know that as it is a rocket launcher it wouldn't matter much for a head shot but it always right when assassinating someone. Aim for the head to make sure they're dead.

A man walks into a bar. Spots target. Offers to buy target a drink. Target declines at first, but after some persuading gives in. Target and man get to talking. Man convinces Target to accompany him on a stroll through his favorite beachside park. On the stroll, the Man stops to yawn. Suddenly and without warning Target falls to the ground; a bullet straight through their Medula Oblongata. The Man looks to a boat anchored about a quarter mile off the shore, nods, and continues on his merry way. Meanwhile, on the boat, I pack my suppressed sniper rifle and drive into the sunset of international waters. The Man receives a package the next day. Greedily, he opens it. A small scale explosions goes off, taking care of the last loose end.

Flawless Victory.

Yeah, pretty interesting effects when you sever the corpus callosum. Since language is primarily (but not completely) controlled in the left hemisphere, it can lead to some weird conflicts in a person's actions.

I recall reading about an experiment where they had a person with a severed corpus c., and they handed them a knife in their right hand (left brain), and showed a picture of a spoon to their left eye (right brain). They they asked the person to say (left brain) what the object was... and the person would say "Knife."

But the right half of the brain disagreed. Unable to speak, it resorted to shaking the head. To this, the left half of the brain wondered aloud, "Why am I shaking my head?"
thats pretty crazy, and i think it would get kind of annoying. like what if one side developed a phobia of spiders and spied one out of the corner of it's eye while the other half was trying to do something like play starcraft or build a model ship in a bottle or something? but i guess it could also work to your advantage, being only able to see through one eye so what you might not have spotted with a larger field of view, you could see with the narrowed field of only one eye. which begs a further question, do the eyes operate independently, like can they look in completely opposite directions?

Light them on fire, then crack them over the head with a barbed wire-encrusted axe.
It never gets old. And they can never complain about M1+W, because its one of the harder tricks in the book.

If possible, a duel.

I will not kill a man like a *****.

It costs nothing to show him respect in his final moments.
Might cost you your life, but if you don't like to live, go on fight fair.
I am confident in my abilities. I just do not want to just kill a man in such a dishonorable way.

Bullet to the head at range, blade to the back at close range, or pushing him off a cliff if the option presents itself. Wait... we're talking about games, what?

here's my top 3 assasination attempts in video games

1: ace combat X2 - final mission, you kill a man by locking on a missile to him and blow him up while in a fighter jet flying through the city

2: COD4,MW - One shot, One kill...that is all

3: hitman blood money- this one is me faffing about, after killing all the guards in one mission, i went around running with a knife after the target...cue in the "psycho" music.

Sniper Rifle

Nothing like seeing them drop though the scope and watching to stupid guards look around like a bunch of idiots.

I'm stuck in a three-way tie
1.) Assassin's Creed style, taking them out up close and ruthlessly
2.) Take them out from range with a sniper rifle (weirdly enough I got most enjoyment doing this from GTA San Andreas, but those were random targets.)
3.) Uplink - Hacking into the Acedemics Database, stripping them of their qualifications, then break into the Police database records and authorise their arrest. And to top it off, set their social security status to "deceased". I am not a nice person.

Depends on the situation. My prefered method would be a silenced sniper rifle from a nearby position with many escape routes. If target happens to be in a armour convoy, mines or remote explosives. Or just sneak in and knife them.
