how do you feel when yahtzee hates a game you lik?

Doesn't bother me one bit, and usually I wind up feeling grudging acceptance when the points he made are things I've realized myself, i.e. Brawl matches in big lvls make it hard to see your characters, or Brooetal Legend having alot of driving.

I dont even believe its a 'difference of opinion', that seems kind of delusional to me. Usually I agree with some, most, or all of the negative points he brings up, but I like it despite the flaws. Yahtzee doesn't really 'hate' every game he gives a negative review, games just have flaws and its his job to point those flaws out. You'd have to be a pretty gigantic fanboy to not think each and every game has flaws, theres no such thing as perfect.

OT: It depends on whether his nitpicks are justified. If the game is repetitive and he blames the game for repetitiveness, then it's fine. And i did not actually like any games he demolished - yet, at least. If he actually "reviews" something i really really like, and destroys it in process, i'll just pray to all known gods for it to be hilarious.

His reviews make me smile, and its his opinion, so I couldn't really give a toss. I have my opinion, he has his.

I think a lot of what he says has merit and I often think the flaws he points out in a game are there but that doesn't change the fact that I like it. For example, I really liked Assassin's Creed 1 but I thought it was ridiculous how close the cities are. The fact that Yahtzee commented on it as well made me laugh hysterically (it was the first ZP I saw in fact). The test of how much you like or love a game is getting every single flaw exposed and delivered back to you and then being able to go over to your gaming platform and put it in and play.
