Cast it into the fires of Mount Doom. I knew a guy that did that one time, he hasn't heard from his necromantic pest since.

You do not kill what is already dead, you destroy it. Now if it "was" dead and it comes back to "life" you can kill it, but the dead you can not kill you can only destroy.
