Not zombies.
If not zombies, then what?
That which should be dead, and is, but continues walking the earth.
Shotgun. That which should be dead, in my opinion, are those which should have gone with natural selection (granted they're mostly people), but science/humanity thinks it's cruel to leave them behind.
It's not living but should be dead, it's what is dead, but still moving.
So it's the living dead but not zombies? That's.... Silly.
Is Jason Varhees a zombie?
I suppose not. But can you site another person/thing/whatever?
Nicholas Cage in Drive Angry.
Something tells me I'm glad I haven't seen that...

You've obviously thought about this a lot more than I have.
Eh, It's a slow Friday.
What if there's no puppeteer?
Well I still need only to destroy the body to cease it from needing to be "Killed", so Carpet Bombing followed by Ashes and Bonemeal should still cover it.
You ever watch Brimstone, see Drive Angry, or read Sometimes They Come Back?
I have not.

I thought I'd be the only one to think of that episode as soon as I saw the title!

<url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJyIg-hxvME>Mystic Eyes of Death Perception. Hell, even Shiki Tohno can do that with his eyes, and he can't even kill concepts like Shiki Ryougi can.

Alternately, a Red Lantern Ring.

Make a really bad movie about it, on the premise that fans will come see it purely based on association with the thing. surefire way to kill anything.

Heal it.

Remember kids, the undead have many negative hit points. Regular dead is -10 hit points. So how do you kill the dead? Raise their health to -10!

It's actually a really good movie, it's just that he plays the "can't kill what's already dead" card. He escapes from Hell and can regenerate from any damage. Even a bullet to the head only stops him for about 2 minutes.

:D you tricky devil!!!!

Easy, figure out where it can't go.... then go there. ignore the problem, and as generations go by tell it as a scary story to your children. Then their children will hear the story, and embark on a grand adventure to slay the beast, killing its minions and helping people along the way! There, problem solved

If a bullet to the head cannot stop it, one would assume dismemberment wouldn't actually *kill* it/them, just make their life or lack thereof somewhat more difficult?

Shame. Brimstone was really good, so was Drive angry, and STCB is a good work of King.
There are other ways to destroy a body besides carpet bombing. Fire and acid work pretty well. What about Meyers? Vorhees? Motherfuckers that just don't stay dead.

It's simple, knowledge is the answer.
Go to the public library or find a british person to find out about what kind of curses and magic are being used and how to stop it. If any magical situation happened in real life there'd be legends about it, and usually all immortal things have a weakness.

Vampires are dead, but you can kill them with a steak through the heart.
Demons are dead but Constantine kills them (lol)
Crazy warlock/necromancer probably has some weakness.

Everythings got a weakness, i bet stabbing michael myers with the femur of his mom would probably kill him

Quite. But Cage is a bad example. Michael Myers or Jason Vorhees are much better examples. They can't regenerate, but they're extremely durable. You could always T2 them.
