I kind of get what he's saying, but to a lesser extent. My school has an unconvicted rapist, several pot smokers, a dealer and a veritable who's who of chavvy scum. Or *had*, more like. I finished this year, along with the aforementioned people. There's still chavs galore. And the younger kids who gel their hair spiky and say something is "sick" when it's awesome. That last part might not seem like much, but these are english kids. In the countryside...Llil said:That just seems so weird to me. Something like that might happen every once and a while in here, but there would be a big ruckus about it, and the people responsible would really get in trouble.Mr.Numbers said:It was normal for that school
And that's in any school. There isn't really "bad schools" like that over here.

I went to a Private Boarding school for a while, but after I got my nose broken, stabbed, shivved, someone tried to rape me with a lightbulb, set on fire (Matches and laser pointers)...
Well...
It wasn't a good school, but I got a lot of life experience, and now blood doesn't phase me, least of all mine.
WHat the hell was up with your school!
Im fine with blood unless theres loads of it.
Same here.SckizoBoy said:I either react like a 'normal' person, that is, I'm totally OK with it and I'll calmly clean it up and see to any wounds either myself or the other person (as applicable) may have. Viscera and the like just doesn't bother me...
i lick my wound. It's surprisingly effective, or if a friends gets hurt I just try to find a bandage. When I was in 8th grade, on the last day of school, I fell out a window by mistake and was lying in a pool of my own blood, I just said "ow, that one hurt" and If my girlfriend gets hurt i kiss the blood away, vampirish? maybe, an excuse to kiss her, yes.binnsyboy said:I ask because a few minutes ago, I accidentally sliced my finger open while handling a knife and it's bleeding more than I thought it would. So because of the lack of plasters etc, I'm sitting here wiping away excess and I don't remember seeing this thread before. So how do you react to blood, and any stories of you/friends fainting, or anything?
Edit: another thing I was thinking about was that after a certain age I stopped using plasters and just let it dry/heal on its own. Anyone else have that?
